Beautifully designed, Casita Quetzal is the perfect Uvita Vacation Rental for groups up to six people. Enjoy the private pool and the world famous Ballena National Park every day ('Whale's Tail beach formation). Small fee to enter the National Park. The beach has miles of uninterrupted and undeveloped shore. Walking distance to shopping and supermarket, restaurants and excursions. Short drive to banks, more restaurants and more beaches! Guests love this home! We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Access

Check-in starts at 3 pm. Each Reservation will have a custom PIN to access the property, so check-in can take place anytime after 3 pm.

Transit

Casita Quetzal is easily accessible by any kind of vehicle. Uvita does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available. Please contact Osa Property Management/Costa Rica Las Villas if you would like to secure private transportation during your time at this wonderful property, and/or transportation to/from San Jose International Airport (or any other airport). We can also line up rental cars for you. The nearest international airport is San Jose (SJO) which is approximately 3 hours away. If you'd like to be picked up at the airport and driven down to the home, our concierge can assist you with that. There are two regional airports: Palmar Sur (35 minutes away) and Quepos (50 minutes away). Taking a regional flight is a wonderful way to see the amazing topography and the miles of beaches from the air. The regional flights only take between 25 minutes (Quepos) and 45 minutes (Palmar Sur) from San Jose's domestic terminal.

Interaction

Osa Property Managements Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or the local regional airport in Quepos, to the property in Uvita. We will also arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be. Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management representative at check-in and at check-out. Osa Property Management will be available via chat/phone number throughout the day and in the event of emergencies. There is no cost for concierge services.

Neighbourhood

Casita Quetzal is located on the Pacific Ocean side of the Costanera Highway (Highway 34) and just a 2-3 minute drive to the beach (or 8 minutes walking). Uvita has everything visitors will need to ensure they have a wonderful stay. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, banks, gas stations, pharmacies and once-in-a-lifetime tours and activities! There is a Mexican restaurant approximately 75 yards from the home that has wonderful food and cocktails. Between the home and the beach, there are several locations to eat and to shop, making Casita Quetzal a very convenient and easy vacation rental.

Space

The property is a private home with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the property and the PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL.The single story home makes it easily accessible to guests of all ages and almost all physical abilities. Guests enter the home and immediately enjoy the openness, high ceilings and great lighting of the modern design and open floor plan. Prepare your morning coffee in the well-equipped kitchen and then enjoy it outside while listening to the birds and nearby jungle come to life. Costa Rica is home to some of the most beautiful birds in the world - including the Quetzal - the homes namesake. Enjoy the fastest internet in the area: over 200 MBPS to keep connected, to work or to study...or simply to upload photos and videos of your time in this beautiful home and country. The SmartTV will stream most of the most popular streaming channels (guests will need their own login credentials for streaming). The Owner has also installed an amazing sound system. The Owner's Suite has its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and a king-size bed. The second bedroom has a king-size bed, and air conditioning. For groups up to six people, or for guests wanting more space, there is a couch in the living room that sleeps 2 people.
