Availability DetailsProperty Description
Tucked at the end of a private road in Wears Valley, Gypsy Road is the cabin you book when you actually want to disappear. No traffic noise, no neighbors in your sightline — just quiet woods, mountain air, and a screened-in hot tub that's ready every single month of the year. Fully screened and sheltered, so you're soaking in comfort whether it's a humid July night or a cold November evening — no weather check required before you decide to get in. Two bedrooms, two levels, multiple decks — including a private screened deck off the King suite upstairs — and a real wood-burning fireplace that earns its keep on cool mountain nights. Wears Valley runs quieter than the Pigeon Forge corridor, and when you're ready to resurface, the rest of the Smokies is an easy drive in any direction.
Inside, the two-level layout gives everyone their own space. The King bedroom upstairs opens onto its own private screened deck — a nice retreat for couples who want to step outside without sharing the main deck. The Queen bedroom sits on the main level with a full bath across the hall. The loft has arcade games and a sleeper sofa, with the King bedroom just off it. Starlink Wi-Fi keeps things connected, the kitchen is fully equipped for real meals, and the charcoal grill is ready when you want to cook outside.
Wears Valley is one of the quieter corners of the Smokies, and Gypsy Road sits at the end of a private gravel lane — so AWD or 4WD is recommended in winter or after heavy rain. Guests have access to a community pool and catch-and-release fishing pond 1.5 miles away — the pool runs seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but the fishing pond is open year-round. The Sugarlands entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about 15 miles out, Gatlinburg is 15 miles, and The Island in Pigeon Forge is 13 miles when you're ready for restaurants or shopping. This is a no-pets, no-smoking property with a minimum renter age of 21.
