At The Birch Tree Lodge, the bedrooms and common rooms are on separate floors. That matters when 16 people are sharing a house. Every bedroom is upstairs and has its own full bathroom. Downstairs, coffee can start early and the second TV can stay on late without sending people through the sleeping floor.

How the lodge is laid out

The first floor is for gathering. The oversized kitchen has full-size appliances, cookware, dishes, and enough counter space for several people to work on a meal. The long dining table is used for meals, cards, and mapping out a day at Killington Resort.

There are two TV rooms downstairs. The larger one has sectional seating. The smaller TV room holds the games, so you may also see it called the game room. A separate stone fireplace lounge with an electric fireplace gives the house another place to sit and talk. A half bathroom is located off the kitchen.

Where everyone sleeps

All six bedrooms are upstairs:

Bedroom 1: one king bed, one twin daybed, and a private full bathroom
Bedroom 2: one king bed and a private full bathroom
Bedroom 3: one single bed, one twin bunk bed, and a private full bathroom
Bedroom 4: one king bed and a private full bathroom

The lodge sleeps up to 16 guests. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, which makes mornings much less complicated for families and groups traveling together.

Getting around Killington

The Birch Tree Lodge is on Killington Road, with a year-round mountain shuttle stop directly out front. Restaurants and nightlife are within walking distance. The property has flat access and parking for up to 50 vehicles, so guests arriving in separate cars have plenty of room.

Mountain and ski trail views are visible throughout the year. The location works well for ski weekends, summer hiking, golf trips, and fall foliage visits.

What the house has

Each upstairs bedroom has a window air-conditioning unit, and several bedrooms have ceiling fans. The house also has heat, a washer and dryer, a propane grill, and 250+ Mbps WiFi. Cell service is reliable at the property.

A smart lock allows 24-hour self check-in. Simple Vacation Rentals manages the lodge locally. Before arrival, we will send your Boarding Pass with WiFi details, shuttle information, house instructions, and local recommendations. Your smart lock code will appear in your Boarding Pass two hours before check-in.

Before you book

Guests rent the entire lodge. There are no shared guest spaces inside the home. The building is connected to Yama Ramen and Killington Haus lodge, but each business has its own space.

Most of the gathering space is indoors. The property does not have a large deck or private outdoor lounge.

The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. Pets, smoking, vaping, parties, and events are not allowed. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 8 AM.
