Space

At your Surfside I condo you will find that the public beach access is nor more than 75 yards away making it very convenient for families to get to. As you walk in you will notice the open concept kitchen that flows thru to the dining & living room areas and glass door to your private patio outside.

While this complex is slightly older & an Island original, it is set up so well for a great stay with a fenced courtyard for kids to play, a heated community hot tub, & swimming pool to finish off your kiddos energy after a long day at the beach
This space is on the 2nd level requiring you to go up 2 flights of stairs but what is nice is you get a nice little view off your patio of the courtyard & hot tub area with patio furniture to sip a margarita or morning coffee. This is a 2 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom that has a full bathroom tub & shower as well as ample bedding.

Surfside is walkable to Kellys Irish Pub (1 block) for great drink specials or their infamous Rueben sandwiches plus their kitchen is open until at least 11 pm; the new fine dining at Captains Cove (same Owners as Yummies & Viva) that is about 3 city blocks away; Cigar Full Service bar (2 blocks) Coral Reef Bar for nightly Karaoke (4 blocks) or hit the beach & walk about 500 yards down to Bar Louie or Clayton’s Beach Bar
In the master bedroom you will find a king bed, flat screen smart TV, and connected en suite half bath with sink/stool. There is a small walk thru closet so that master bedroom guests do not have to go into the kitchen/living room to shower affording more privacy.

The guest bedroom has a unique queen bed with a pull out trundle bed under that makes a great kids bunkroom or for a couple with a small child that can stay with them on the pullout. There is another small flat screen in here for kiddos to watch at the end of the day. This bedroom is adjacent to the full bathroom as well.

The living room has a sleeper sofa that is a very small full bed, as well as extra side chair great to watch the larger flat screen smart TV or play a family board game night for great conversation & memories.
The eat in counter is perfect to also get some work done on your laptop (yes – wifi / internet free) with the additional dining table & chairs. Speaking of the kitchen ours if fully equipped with all pots, pans dishes – just bring your food to enjoy more convenient & affordable home cooked meals.

There is a washer & dryer stackable that is nice to freshen up during your stay or before you go home. While this condo is not brand new nor fully remodeled (not super duper fancy) it is professionally cleaned and has all tile floors plus comfortable furniture we think you will enjoy. The overall square footage is about 850.

One cool feature as even though this is a 2nd floor condo, you will have access to ground floor garage space for beachgear, wagons etc though not for a vehicle a golf cart could fit.
If you have another family or two you are wanting to join with, we do manage multiple properties here that you can bundle up and all stay at the same property. Simply inquire

Nuts & Bolts:
• Please do note that this property does require you go up / down 2 flights of stairs as 2nd floor with no elevator
• We do have free parking space for two small vehicles in the included off street parking or one large full size SUV & perhaps a golf cart back to front. This property does not have guest parking unfortunately & a golf cart is considered a vehicle
• We do not accept pets
• Max is 6 guests including infants & babies per HOA rules
• While we do have a smaller sleeper sofa as well as a bonus queen sized airbed & pump please bring extra bedding if you plan on using

Fresh Towels & bed linens are provided, as well as a starter pack of soaps and trash bags though it is not unlimited nor resupplied so please plan accordingly. We do have coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, non stick cooking spray and Salt/Pepper all in the condo too but not unlimited nor restocked

For stays longer than 3 nights, you can exchange towels and linens for free at our office, South Padre Trips, at 2600 Padre Blvd. We answer phones 24 hours a day, 7 days a week a rare thing for a host

This condo is located on E. Morningside Drive on the island. Our property is professionally managed locally by South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd, open 9 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week if you need assistance.

Parking is free. Please note a golf cart is considered a vehicle and a max of 2 small vehicles are allowed / garage is not sufficient for a vehicle though a golf cart can fit as well as all your beach gear.

Our listing requires the primary tenant to be 25 years of age or older and present at check-in. If you are NOT 25 years of age you MUST contact us prior to booking as there are additional damage/security deposit requirements if you are not 25 for us to comply with property rules
We do offer off season discounts as well as active military, Vet, and tackle football coach discounts. Inquire - we would be happy to assist and host you!

While we want you to have fun, this is not a party property and we do security patrol this condo property at night , FYI.
Please note we require an e-sign rental agreement with an attached photo ID after booking. This is necessary to maintain our City of South Padre Island Rental License. You may e-sign the rental agreement via E sign prior to arrival to receive your door code. Please provide your email address and attach a photo of your ID to verify your age.

An electronic door code is provided to enter the property via text message to the cell phone number on file by 3 pm on day of check in. We do not provide door codes earlier as we cannot have guests attempting to park nor slowing down maid service of course. If you need a somewhat earlier check in, contact our office on day of check in around 1 pm and we can check for you
.
Loud noises are NEVER permitted including music. Complex quiet time is 10 pm to 9 am. No Smoking * No Parties * No Exceptions
Check in is 3 pm. Check out is 11 a.m

Our short term City of South Padre Rental License can be provided upon request.
