The dining room, in turn, is adjacent to the large chef’s kitchen, appointed with hickory cabinetry, granite counters, and a spacious island with a downdraft cooktop. The spacious master bedroom is also conveniently located just off the great room. Its king-size bed is built for your comfort, and the ensuite bath includes a walk-in shower, a soaking tub and granite counters.

From Crazy Like a Fox, a short drive will bring you to any of the High Country’s adventure and sightseeing opportunities. The home is 15 minutes from the small town of Sparta, which features shops, restaurants, live music and friendly people. Check out the popular Becca’s Backwoods Coffee, the Main Street Pizzeria, Italian-American fusion food at Crave, and the Muddy Creek Café and Music Hall. You can also experience traditional mountain music and dancing at the Alleghany Jubilee, originally the historic Sparta theater. Crazy Like a Fox is also close to Piney Creek, where you’ll find an appealing combination of rustic and upscale dining at Red Dog. 

If you enjoy water sports, you’re only 15 minutes to the New River State Park. The New River is a peaceful and slow-moving river, scenic and safe for all ages.
