Availability DetailsProperty Description
Welcome to Big Horn Ski Escape, your perfect mountain getaway in Big Sky! This 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom ski-in/ski-out townhome is ideally situated between the Bear Back Poma Lift and Lake Levinsky, offering the best of both worlds- easy access to the slopes in winter and lakeside fun in summer! From your front door, you can walk or ski directly to the Bear Back Poma Lift (weather permitting), or enjoy a scenic stroll down to Lake Levinsky to paddleboard, swim, or relax by the water on a warm Montana afternoon.
Inside, you’ll find a welcoming open-concept living space with vaulted ceilings, rich wood accents, and a stone fireplace that invites you to unwind after a day of adventure. The fully equipped kitchen features updated appliances, ample counter space, a breakfast bar for three, and a dining table that seats 8- perfect for entertaining and creating amazing mountain memories. The living room offers cozy seating with a wood-burning fireplace and creating a true lodge-style atmosphere that feels both comfortable and refined.
Each of the three bedrooms provides a peaceful retreat with beautiful views and private ensuite access. The main-level bedroom offers a queen bed and overlooks Lake Levinsky. Upstairs, one suite features a queen bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and dedicated workspace. While the other offers two twin beds and a serene lake view. The kids will enjoy a PS5 gaming system in the bedroom and a X Box Series X. Step out to the back deck to sip your morning coffee as the sun rises over the lake, or watch the sunset after a day on the slopes. Whether your'e here for ski season or summer adventure, Big Horn Ski Escape is your home base for unforgettable Big Sky moments.
One of the things that makes this home stand out from others in the complex is the thoughtful upgrades throughout. With two 40-gallon water heaters, there's plenty of hot water for larger groups. The triple-pane windows help keep the home quieter and warmer than the original double-pane windows, while the fireplace provides real heat to keep you comfortable on cooler days. You'll also enjoy beautiful lake and mountain views from the deck and two of the bedrooms, instead of looking out at the back of neighboring units.
In the winter, Big Sky Resort offers “The Biggest Skiing in America” for experts, kids, and everyone in between with 5,800 skiable acres, 4,350 feet vertical drop, and average annual snowfall of 400+ inches. It's not just downhill that is superb, cross-country skiers are invited to the historic Lone Mountain Ranch, voted #1 Nordic Ski Resort in North America with over 85 kilometers of groomed trails through the wilderness. There are endless other winter activities including Yellowstone National Park, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, dog sledding, ice fishing or a relaxing day at the spa.
In the summer, you are just minutes from exceptional fly fishing, river rafting, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, ziplining and more. Plus, the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park is only about 45 minutes away while following the historic HWY 191 along the scenic Gallatin River. Don't miss the free concerts, farmer's markets, and weekly special events throughout the summer!
