Life’s A Bear is a mountain cabin in Gatlinburg’s Sky Harbor area, positioned between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The home sleeps 4 and is arranged across two levels, with a main-floor primary suite and an upstairs guest bedroom. A ridge-top setting and wraparound decks frame a long Smoky Mountain sightline, and the main living area uses a tall stone fireplace and cathedral ceilings as a focal point alongside the view.

Sleeping is set up with one king bed in the primary bedroom on the main level and one queen bed in the upper-level guest bedroom. The cabin also includes an open sleeping loft area. Two full bathrooms support the layout, including a jetted tub in the primary king suite.

For on-site entertainment, the cabin offers a game loft with a pool table, arcade game, and dartboard. Outdoor features include a hot tub on the upper level and a fire pit below, both positioned to face the same mountain outlook. Rocking chairs and deck/patio space add additional places to sit outside.

The cabin was wonderful even though we made our reservations at a late date for the season. We were inviting family for Thanksgiving and it was a very inviting cabin with barbecue pit and what a wonderful surprise for everyone to see it beautifully decorated for Christmas. The only difficulty is in making and sending copy after copy of my drivers license and credit card when making, signing and checking on the reservation, especially when I have reserved cabins many times before with Timber Tops.

Check in was a breeze. The agent (Amanda?) was very friendly and helpful. We called mid stay to see about places that deliver to the cabin and the agent was very helpful. In the Life's a Bear cabin, everything was great. We did want to let you know that the spiral stair case was VERY wobbly and scary! When you stood on the top landing, it sagged a few inches. The top deck under the hot tub also sagged a bit (the water level was higher towards the front of the deck). Overall great stay! Bed was amazing and so comfortable. LOVED how many pillows there were.
