This is our second time staying at Amazing views. The cabins are always clean and comfortable. They are close to all of the attractions around, and such a cozy environment to return to after being out all day. Love the area and will definitely be back to stay at Amazing views. Everything was great other than our last day there, they worked on the well early that morning and when we got back we had no water at all. We were offered to go to another cabin but we were checking out in about 12 hours and didn’t want to have to pick and move everything just to have to pack it up again to leave.

Peace and tranquility is what I needed and that’s what I received! The birds chirping, the sounds of nature and seeing 3 bears coming up the driveway was a adventure that will stay with me for a long time. The pool, hot tub and jet tub also added to a stress free vacation. The friendly staff was helpful and made everything so easy, thank you!!!!

Mostly everything was great but there were a few things that could have been better. The internet didn't work which would have been nice to be able to look up activities and food in the area. Also it would have been nice to be notified that the pool guy was going to show up instead of having some random person show up randomly one evening. The DVD player in the living room didn't work and the TV there was staticky. Also the first night we were there the indoor jacuzzi didn't have any hot water. But on the other hand, the location was beautiful. The cabin itself was lovely. We really enjoyed the pool and the hottub outdoors. Overall it was a pretty great stay. I just would have fixed those few things.

Our stay at Makin' Waves was a great experience. The cabin is beautiful and very well appointed. Couple of notes: Back walkway is very slick - looks like they had put the antislip things down but still had to be very careful. New decking would probably be a good idea. Wifi was horrible and while we enjoy disconnecting, others might not feel the same way.

The cabin, Makin Waves, was very nice...the pool and hot tub were very well maintained and clean..the WIFI was terrible, basically, it didn't even work...the lighting inside could be brighter there is currently one overhead in the kitchen and one in the main room, both are not very bright...(web pics show a floor and table lamp..where are they?)...the side of the house needs some additional lighting (can't see a thing at night)..and the driveway needs some attention at the curve and the end, quite a large drop at the curve going down and the end of the drive just drops off.....this is our fifth time staying at one of your rentals they have always been very nice, I know everything has some issues and I hope letting you know about these help.....also, FYI, the directions given to us were incorrect, when you are almost there it says 0.2 miles, should be more like 1.2 miles (good thing for GPS)...

Amazon cabin for the price! Was very clean and well stocked. The only complaint was the internet was very slow and the driveway is not car friendly as I scraped the bottom of my car every time I came in and out of the driveway.

The cabin was amazing!! The xplorie pass was nice but it took over 30 mins just to make a reservation. Overall my only complaint is that the directions from the office to the cabin were very vague. For those not familiar with the area it was nearly impossible to find. I would suggest filling out the directions perhaps with some landmarks, ect. Also, a maintenance man showed up randomly to service the pool and went into the cabin when we weren't there. We definitely understand maintenance, ect but a heads up would be nice... we had valuables and personal items in the cabin and would appreciate notice if someone is going to be in the place. All in all though a really great experience and the drawbacks I mentioned were minor inconveniences. We would certainly stay again and hopefully will.

There were a few problems with the cabin that were not disclosed when we called and asked about it. The issue of the broken ice maker was resolved by bringing 2 bags of ice. Overall, good experience.

Overall, we loved the cabin, but 4 factors played a major part from a 5 rating... 1. Outside grill, could not adjust the cooking grill to a higher level, looks like damaged from a falling object. So we went and bought a small charcoal grill to cookout. 2. No lighting and lack of jet power to the outside jacuzzi, used only 1 time. 3. Either we couldn't figure out the fireplace or it just didnt work, it ruined our romantic dinner to celebrate our anniversary. 4. Even though we were called while at the cabin and given a heads up about a maintenance man coming to check the swimming pool daily due to leak, we had to limit our romantic time, because of not knowing when he was going to show up. The guys that showed were very professional though. These 4 situations put a thorn in our side, because we were celebrating our anniversary and taking our honeymoon.

3.8 best fit our experience. Booking and paying were easy. We did the direct check in we called little bit after 3pm but, the cabin wasn't ready so we waited until 4pm then we drove to the cabin. After 15 hrs of driving we were super ready to be there and settle in. Cell phone receptions were very limited and once we found a spot where we can make a call we were on hold for a very long time and had to make multiple calls(14 total and nearly an hour later) can't get through but finally thank goodness I got a hold of reservations and Janie our reservation lady helped us get in. Once in and inspected the cabin the front panel of the fridge on the freezer side where computer chip would be were opened with computer panel hanging out, the cover and screws were on top of the stove. I called Janie right away and was told that she will have someone out to fix it. No one came but, I didn't call back because it didn't affect us we just didn't use ice or water from it. So upon checking out I report this again. Not a big deal. And the cleaning crew left the outside trash bin full we can hardly fit our trash in it. And we cannot get the outdoor grill to level due to the very big dent on the back side. Light bulb going up the stairs seems to be out and extra cautions were needed to get up and down the stairs. Over all good experience cleanliness was a must and our cabin was pretty well cleaned. So the major issue is not being able to get into the cabin after 15 hrs drive. I don't know if other guests have this problem. So I suggest other than calling in to get the code that maybe emailing the key code and all codes needed once the cabin is ready could also help.
