Welcome to La Luna, a magical collection of romantic
eco boutique cabaņas, hidden away on the beach near
Tulum. We are situated on the main beach road that
runs to Boca Paila and Punta Allen (approx 6.8 km) and
easy to find. When you get to Tulum from Cancun
airport (1.5 hrs) take a left at the 1st traffic light
direction Boca Paila. When you hit the beach road after
approx 5 kms take a right to Boca Paila and Punta Allen.
After approx. 1.8 km just look for the large blue doors
on the left side of the road and a moon ("Luna")
signaling our driveway.
La Luna is on a beautiful stretch of more than 50 meters
(approx 165 feet) of beach frontage and well over an
acre in size. Accommodations consist of five very
special & romantic cabanas, situated on a private part
of the property, with a unique view of the beautiful
blue ocean. The names reflect the very different, unique
style and atmosphere each of these cabanas provide.
We also have a 4-bedroom Villa for larger families or
groups.
Robinson Crusoe - One bedroom cabana with queen
size bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink,
and adjacent wooden deck with chairs, dining table and
hammocks overlooking the ocean
Christopher Columbus - One bedroom cabana with
queen size bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet
and sink, and adjacent wooden deck with chairs, dining
table and hammocks overlooking the ocean
Casablanca - a very romantic Moroccan style cabana
sleeping 2 people. The cabana features a king size bed,
a spacious bathroom with beautiful shower, toilet and
sink as well as a private deck with chairs, dining table
and hammocks overlooking the ocean
Marrakech - A large family cabana sleeping 4 people
upstairs from Casablanca with private entrance and
outside stairway. Marrakech has high ceilings, two
sleeping areas (both with a queensize bed), separated
by a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, 2 large
balconies, one overlooking the jungle and one with full
ocean view
Captain Dale's Beach House - Our Beautiful Belizean
style family beach house sleeping 6. On the ground
floor 1 king size bed & upstairs 2 large lofts each with a
queen size bed and a artistic wooden walkway
connecting the 2 lofts, spacious bathroom with 2 sinks,
a large shower and toilet, large private deck with chairs,
dining table and hammocks, with wonderful views
overlooking the ocean and the sunrise
Villa Zanzibar - a beautiful yet rustic 4-bedroom Villa
located a bit further back on the property. The Villa
provides a perfect hideaway for larger families and
groups and is self-contained, with its own semi-
outdoor living room and kitchen. The Villa sleeps 8-12
people, it has a queen and a single bed can be added in
each room.
The fine white sand and warm waters of the Caribbean
are only a few steps from your door. Your private
beach-front garden is filled with coconuts, Mayan "chit"
palms, seagrapes, beach lilies and many other native
trees and plants. Local mayan artisans have created
much of Luna. You will enjoy their stonework and doors
and windows crafted from local hardwoods. We ask you
to relax and enjoy your stay.

NOTE: There is a three night minumum stay. During the
Christmas holiday period, only weekly rentals can be
made.
Reservation/cancellation policy:
We request a 50% deposit via credit card and/or paypal
to secure the reservation. The balance needs to be paid
in full 2 weeks before your stay. In case of cancellation
up to 45 days before the actual reservation, we will
refund 50% of the actual paid deposit (ie 25% of the
total booking price). In case of cancellations within 45
days of the start of the reservation period, no refunds
will be given, but the deposit can be used for another
stay for up to a year after the start date of the initial
reservation.
Check-in time is 3:00pm, check-out time is 12am.
Guests arriving after 8pm should announce this in
advance so that we can arrange for a welcome.

Each cabana is furnished with:

The property has the following general amenities:

massive seagrape tree
- Outdoor fresh water shower

Optional services at additional charge:

10 yrs. Special prices for groups. Price includes water
but no other beverages. These can be purchased by the
staff and served with your meal.
Our local staff can help you arrange for these and many
more amenities as well as solve any problems which
could arise.

The beach, the beach the beach...
If not, there are always the hammocks. There are also
cenotes for swimming or cave diving all over the area
: Xel-ha, Dos Ojos, Grand Cenote, Caleta Tankah... A
day or more for a run down to Punta Allen is worth the
time. As is a guided tour of the Sian Ka'an reserve, a
day to Coba, Tulum Ruins, etc
Restaurants: there a number of great restaurants
located within walking distance of Luna. Try Zamas,
Maya Tulum, Casa Violeta, Casa Banana, la Vita e Bella,
Hechizo, Mezzanine on the beach or in town: La Nave,
Ginger...
