Most Comfortable and Spacious Condo
A most comfortable and spacious condo with amazing amenities. Wailea Elua condos are in such a great location, walkable to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Although a bit of a longer walk (no more than 5 minutes) to the beach than some of the other units, the ocean views were spectacular from this location. The beds and linens were cozy, lots of bath towels and plush beach towels. The kitchen had a variety of small appliances and ample table settings. Communication with the host was 10/10!! We would definitely rebook this unit, and with Ali'i Rentals in the future.

Great home base for family vacation!
This condo was just as advertised, and was a comfortable, well-appointed place to come home to after exploring the island every day. The pool(s) and beach are close (5 min walk) and well maintained, not too crowded. The unit included beach chairs and a cooler which all came in handy. It would have been nice to have a beach umbrella as well, but no luck there. Thank you for a great time, we would definitely return!
Perfect for our Family of 5
We stayed at Wailea Elua #105 and it was PERFECT for our family of 5. When we first drove into the complex, we were concerned because it was one of the last buildings on the property away from the beach. In hindsight, we think #105 is perhaps the best unit in the entire complex. Because it's a ground level unit, it has has a larger lanai than most other units and was extremely private. The living area of the unit faces the ocean and provides amazing views of the water. The walk to beach, pool and fitness area is less than 5 minutes. The unit is luxury - excellent kitchen, bathrooms and beds are super comfortable. We used the pullout couch and true to pullouts - it was fine for one of the kids. Everything was well stocked although admittedly, we only cooked one night and most of the cooking was done on the grill. Our one regret was we were really too busy on Maui - we would have preferred to enjoy the complex beach and pool more than we did. The complex's beach was great -- we snorkeled right off the beach and in the afternoon, when the water was choppy and had some great swells -- our boys loved it. Bring your own snorkels. The unit provided nice beach chairs and a cooler which came in handy. We used the fitness area and it was small but honestly, got the job done. Some cardio equipment mixed with free weights was more than enough. There is a great pathway that connects most of Wailea that is perfect for running, walking, or accessing amenities in some of the hotels like a Starbucks. For what it's worth, we enjoyed walking into one of the "grand" hotels just a minute away from the Wailea Elua. People were packed into the pool and beach areas - it looked like you needed to "claim" space early in the day in order to enjoy the amenities. It was NEVER crowded at Elua - it made us appreciate how much better, more relaxing and peaceful staying in Elua was compared to properties around it - while still delivering on a vacation/luxury feel. The property management company (Al li Resorts) was very attentive without being obtrusive. We got towel pickup daily and bed making and a unit clean mid week. Check out was so easy - we could leave the unit much like a hotel room - no extra work required. That's a plus as we were short on time before our flight. All in all, a wonderful experience. Thanks to condo owners for sharing their unit and to Al li Resorts for the excellent coordination. Mahalo!

Our stay at Wailea Elua was absolutely great. Our accommodations were spacious and beautiful with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The grounds were remarkable with close access to beach and private sitting areas. The condo had everything you needed. The staff on hand were very accommodating. And close to shopping and restaurants.

This is my 1st time to write review for vacation rental. Elua Village(our 2nd time) is absolutely the best condo in Wealia. The village has all what we are looking for. Perfect for family with yong kids. We will go back again!
Great ocean view - secluded lanai
We've spent 10 vacations at Waila Elua and four at unit #105. The view looks over the resort to the ocean panorama. the lanai is large, and on the side of the condo away from the rest of the resort, so it is secluded. A row of trees separate in from the resort next door. Construction at the resort next door was an issue in 2012, but that is nearing completion and improves what was already an outstanding view. This condo has been upgraded with marble in the kitchen and bathroom and stainless steel kitchen appliances. The unit has a 58" TV with a DVR and DVD player. We highly recommend this unit, and alli'i Resorts is a top notch management team.

A wonderful home-base to see Maui from...
We stayed at the Wailea Elua Suite 105 for two weeks in February-March 2011. We were a group of seven in total, six adults and one baby. Our stay could not have gone better, with regards to the condo and properties. The condo itself was tastefully decorated and everything was recently updated and quite upscale-looking, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The lanai (patio) was a highlight for our family and we had many sunset barbecues on it, enjoying the wonderful sunsets and early morning coffee's on it. There was a daily towel service so we always had fresh bath towels, and beach towels were provided as well. We were not sure how often the bedding was changed during our stay, but I'm not certain that was done as regularly as the towels. The resort also accommodated us with a high chair and some small additional requests without complaint or delay, and they assisted us in planning some of our activities while on Maui. The condo property was quite wonderful as well: easy access to the beach, and a terrific, well maintained pool and patio area. In particular, my 8-month old son loved the pool as it was not too cold. The pool area was also never very busy, so there were always deck chairs or tables to be had and there was never too much commotion in the pool, in contrast to some of the other resorts further south down the coastline. It was also nice that the snorkeling was quite good on the beach, so we didn't need to travel very far to get some use out of the snorkels and fins we brought with us. The community is gated, and the employees manning the gates were always friendly and greeted us with a smile regardless of the hour. The location was terrific for seeing the whole island as well. It was a quick walk to the Shops of Wailea for shopping, and a quick drive into Kihei for most of the local restaurants that we visited. It's also located a short drive from the nearest highway, so getting around the island to Lahaina, Kahului, or further afield was never a problem for us. In summary, this condo was a highlight of our trip, and we would absolutely recommend it to other groups or families wanting to visit Maui.
