Guest Reviews of WAILEA ELUA, #802 Two Bedroom / Two Bath Oceanview Wailea, Maui, HI Perfection in Paradise Wailea is the perfect vacation location on Maui with swimming, snorkeling, sunning, kayaking, shopping, dining all within walking distance plus many great beaches within a short drive along with an interesting lava hike along the King's Highway at the end of the road. Elua #802 is a wonderful "home base", very comfortable, with all the amenities of home plus a lovely lanai with a beautiful ocean view - perfect for spotting spouting whales in February! This unit does require the use of stairs, if this is an issue, choose a first floor unit. Great housekeeping, Stunning view The Elua resort was well equipped and clean. Our condo was well suited to our family of 4. The housekeeping service made our trip extra relaxing. Our Stay at Elua Our stay at Elua last week was great, as usual. The grounds, the unit, the staff - all superb. The beds in our unit were a little on the soft side and internet was a bit spotty, but that is the extent of our critical feedback. A week in Wailea is a week in paradise! Lovely Vacation! #802 had all the amenities we needed plus more. We would definitely stay there again. Wonderful Whale Watching Vacation We spent 11 days in Unit #802 and experienced a fun and relaxing time on Maui. Our whale watching/snorkeling excursion, Old Lahaina Luau experience and trip to the Ocean Center were excellent. Out upcountry drive to the alii lavender Farm and Tedeschi Winery was also fun. We especially loved spending time on the nearby beaches, snorkeling along several different reef zones, kayaking with sea turtles and whales offshore of the Marriott resort,hiking in the lava field at the end of the road, and walking to dinner at the Shops at Wailea. We can't wait to return! We feel fortunate to have found the perfect Maui vacation spot at Wailea Village. This convenient location allowed us to easily participate in all the activities we had planned. Our unit had an ocean view where we could sit on our lanai each evening to watch the sunset. We also ate breakfast here and saw whales spouting, breeching, and cruising in the ocean every day. Having a washer/dryer to use made our trip even more pleasant as did the fully functional kitchen. We much prefer staying in a condo to a hotel room! Perfect Maui vacation spot. Can't imagine a better spot on the island. Have stayed at the Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton Kapalua and this is much better. It is so peaceful and beautiful at the Elua village, you just can't find a better place. No noise, no crowds, amazing landscaping , too many orchids to count, a beautiful uncrowded pool, your own kitchen, it just goes on and on.
