We require a 50% deposit upon booking to reserve a unit. We accept all major credit cards. The balance is charged automatically to the card on file 14 days prior to your arrival date. If reservation is made within 30 days of your arrival date, the entire balance will be charged.
CHECK OUT - Check out time is 11am. If you have not discussed a late check out with our office and stay beyond the 11am check out time a $50 late check out fee will be charged to the credit card on file
1.) NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside of the building, on front or back porches or within 15' of any entry door, window or ventilation intake. Disposing of cigar/cigarette butts by any member of your party anywhere on the property (lawns, flowerbeds, flower pots, driveways, parkways etc.) will not be tolerated. Any individual found smoking in the home will be required to vacate all members of their party from the property immediately. Any guest smoking in the unit will also be subject to a $250 ionization fee.
2.) TENANT, assures the Owner 's, At Home Inn Chicago Inc., he/she and all individuals who occupy the property during the term of the lease will conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful & inoffensive to the neighbors, both in the home and next door to the home. They shall not disturb, annoy, endanger or inconvenience neighbors in any way, nor shall Lessee's use the premises for any unlawful purposes, nor violate any law or ordinance, nor commit nuisance on or about the premises.
3.) REFUNDS: At Home Inn Chicago, Inc. will make every effort to ensure all equipment (mechanicals, appliances, electrical equipment, cable, etc) is kept in good working order at all times however it is impossible for us to guaranty this. So, in the event a repair or replacement is found necessary, AHIC, LLC will make every effort to have such repairs made within 24 hrs of the report. Please report inoperative equipment to us promptly (312) 640-1050. In the event AHIC, LLC is unable to remedy the problem within 24 hours we will relocate TENANT to a comparable At Home Inn Chicago managed property. If no property is available, you will be refunded for each day the property is deemed unfit and uninhabitable. It will be the Tenant's responsibility to find alternate accommodations; tenant expressly acknowledges that in no event shall At Home Inn Chicago be responsible for any expense incurred as a result of relocation to another property. IF TENANT and HIS/HER GUESTS CHOOSE TO STAY, there will be NO REFUNDS.
REFUNDS will be granted only if the property is unfit and uninhabitable. The malfunction of mechanicals (air conditioner/furnace/ water heaters, etc) appliances (stoves, refrigerators/freezers, microwaves, etc.) electrical equipment (TV, Stereo, DVD etc) plumbing or noise will not automatically render the property unfit and uninhabitable. No amenities are guaranteed. NOTE: Plumbing problems resulting from disposing of anything with the exception of toilet tissue (no feminine products, no diapers, no feminine or baby wipes, toys, jewelry etc. ) will be considered negligent behavior by tenant and/or his/her guests; any cost related to the remedy of the problem will be deducted from the credit card provided. Repairs made by employees of At Home Inn Chicago will be billed at a rate of $50/hr.
4.)"NO PARTY" POLICY: Each of our units are located within the finest neighborhoods of Chicago. Please remember that these homes are situated in residential neighborhoods, and many are situated in multi-dwelling buildings. The home owners do not tolerate excessive noise, late night gatherings, and front yard/street gatherings. TENANT will keep their outdoor activity limited to 9 pm during the week 11pm on weekends. At Home Inn Chicago asks that you limit your indoor music at all times, especially after 9:00pm. Some buildings may have their own curfews that are set by managment and/or the condo associations and may have their own curfews for common area gatherings. These rules and curfews supersede the rules set in this paragraph. TENANT and/or members of his/her party who violate the terms of this lease will be required to vacate the property; all monies applied to the lease of the property and security deposit will be forfeited.
5.) TENANT agrees to indemnify and save Owner , At Home Inn Chicago, Inc., harmless from all liability, loss or damage arising from any nuisance or harm made or suffered on the leased premises by the LESSEE, or his/her guests from any carelessness, neglect, or improper conduct of any persons entering, occupying or visiting the leased premises. In the event that any action shall be commenced by either party arising out of, or concerning this lease or any right or obligation derived there from, the prevailing party shall be entitled to receive attorney's fees as fixed by the Court in addition to all relief at law or equity.
6.) CANCELLATIONS: MUST be received in writing--fax or email. Written receipt of your cancellation is required by our office. The rate of a one night stay per week booked is non refundable at time of booking. The entire balance is non-refundable within 14 days of your arrival date. If your unit is rebooked for some or all of the days, you will be refunded that amount minus a $50 cancellation fee. You may call our office at (312)640-1050 no sooner than 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to check the status of your refund.
7.) DAMAGE: TENANT agrees that they are accepting the premises, all equipment and fixtures in a satisfactory condition and are satisfied with said condition and understand the Premises are strictly non-smoking. They agree that at the termination date of the agreement to return the Premises and all equipment and fixtures in as good condition as when the TENANT took possession, ordinary wear and tear accepted, failing which Unit Owner may restore the premises, equipment and fixtures to such condition and TENANT shall pay the cost thereof upon request. There will be a $25 fee for each set of lost keys. You will be emailed notice of charges as well as an ivoice.
TENANT is expected to leave the property in the same condition as it was when he/she took occupancy; maintaining the property in good order and appearance. You are not requited to clean the unit. NOTE: An additional cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card on file for any cleaning above and beyond the scope of a normal cleaning. This will be from $50 but not to exceed $250. You will be informed of this prior, and be given an invoice. EXAMPLE: steam cleaning and/or shampooing curtains, carpets, mattresses, furniture, etc. NOTE: When renting MULTIPLE Apartments we ask that furniture, bedding, glasses, dishes pot & pans, utensils etc. be put in their rightful place prior to your departure.

I had the best time during my stay. At Home Inn was so helpful from start to finish, even with a stay as long as mine. The location is right in the heart of downtown, close to anything you could think of. Everything is either walking distance or a train ride away, also easily accessible from the location. I had no problems whatsoever! I would definitely recommend this apartment to future Chicago visitors.
