Fish Tale will surprise you with its comfort and convenience for your vacation. The view is spectacular and the floor plan is comfortable. We are just steps away from the nearest beach, so there is no need to drive.
Fish Tale is the home you will rent on Bald Head year after year. Just ask our guests. You can relax on the large sofa as soon as you walk through the front door. The wide open floorplan allows you to enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean from nearly every window. You'll soon be telling your friends about your adventures at Bald Head Island.
This home is ideal for two to three families or couples. It has 2 master suites with king beds, a queen bedroom and a bunkroom with full twin bunks.
No problem! No problem! The kitchen is well-stocked (many people say they rent every Thanksgiving because of the many pots, pans and appliances, serving ware etc.). Add to that, a large dining table that can easily seat up to 10 people with stunning views of the ocean.
Fish Tale's open floor plan and high ceilings make it a very enjoyable place to live. The living room is open to the sunroom, dining area and kitchen. The bedrooms are private, but open to the living area. There are several seating areas where you can read, do puzzles, drink coffee, or simply admire the view. The sunroom, where you can enjoy the sunrise, and the deck, where you can soak up the sunset are the most popular places for relaxation. Just beautiful!
Fish Tale has something for everyone. We offer high-speed wireless internet and DVR services on the TV. You can go to the beach and not miss your favorite game, show, or golf match. This is not a brand new home but it has some fun, updated furniture and linens. All guests commented on the high quality and comfortable beds, linens, and pillows.
We are very kid-friendly and beach-friendly! The home includes a highchair, booster chair and 2 full cribs. It also has toys, books and beach and pool toys. The quality beach chairs, towels, beach bags and outdoor shower will be enjoyed by you. We want to make sure that all amenities are ready and in working order for you. We also provide one double kayak. Let the exploration begin! !
Fish Tale is located in South Beach, just a few steps from the beach. We are near the Baldhead Island Club and the Maritime Market. We have two 4-seater golf cars available for your use.
You can purchase a separate membership directly from the club to gain access to the BHI Club.

Wonderful, relaxing stay in one of the most organized, well appointed rentals we have ever stayed in. We spent a weekend here celebrating our daughter's birthday, and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity. We could tell from the moment that we walked through the door that the owners are proud of their home and take time to make their guests feel at home as well. The kitchen was well appointed with pots/pans and all cooking tools. Beach bags stocked with beach towels were left by the front door-a nice touch :). Beach toys, paddle boards all for your enjoyment! This house is setup for young children and my kids loved the play room filled with toys! Super nit-picky, but it would be great to have seat belts installed on the carts (they sell them on Amazon :) ) for the little ones. Thanks for sharing your little slice of Heaven!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fish Tale. The house was well appointed with everything a vacationing family would need for a week at the beach. The garage was stocked with beach toys, life jackets, surf and paddle boards and chairs. The kitchen and living area area appear to have been recently renovated and furnished. We enjoy cooking and appreciated the organization of the kitchen. The master bedroom and bathrooms were bit outdated but functional. Overall, the house was comfortable and very clean. The beach facing deck was a great place to unwind and watch the sunset. Fish Tale exceeded our expectations.

Fishtales is perfect for a large group w/ small children. We are a family of 10 adults ( 5 couples) and 2 small grandchildren ( age 1 and 2). The location to the beach is terrific - and the openness of the living area, as well as the children's play room can't be beat! There is some age on the house, but nothing that hindered an outstanding week. Looking to book again for next year's adventure!!

Never have we rented a house with more fun toys. This house has it all, surfboards, paddle boards, boogie boards, skim boards, tennis racquets, chairs, bikes, you name it, they have it. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked and organized. We highly recommend renting this house for your Bald Head vacation!

The home was beautiful and was just what my family needed. I loved how everything was labeled in kitchen. This was a fantastic idea. Made cooking and clean up so much easier. Spent a lot of time on the porch just enjoying the breeze and watching the people, kids and golf carts go by. It was the best!!! Thank you for letting us use this home for our time away.

This is our favorite home we have stayed in on Bald Head. Not only were the views of the ocean spectacular, but the house was incredibly well outfitted. From the kayaks to the bikes to the Scout bags packed with beach towels, we enjoyed all of the special touches this owner provides. To top it off, we got to bring our dog along!

This home could not have been more perfect for our family. The kids loved the bunks, the adults loved the space the house provided so everyone wasn't on top of each other, I loved the well stocked kitchen. The proximity to the ocean, club, market, and marina was perfect. The golf carts were much appreciated. It had everything we needed, we can't wait to come back.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The home was so stocked it was wonderful not having to purchase extra things or drag down from PA with us. The kids loved the golf carts which both worked great. BHI services was wonderful to work with and very responsive with the million questions we had prior to arrival. We can't wait to come back.

Fish Tale was by far the best equipped and most organized home we have ever stayed in on the island. We've stayed in about a dozen homes over the years. Some have been newer or professionally decorated, but none has come close to Fish Tale's offerings. The kitchen had everything we needed for a lot of cooking, including a giant griddle, a crockpot, and a blender. There were plenty of towels and washcloths for our group of 10. There were 2 giant, waterproof beach bags provided, along with 6 beach towels. My husband and I were most impressed with the garage (!). First of all, there was room to maneuver around, and second of all, everything was neatly labeled and accessible. There were at least 13 clean, functioning beach chairs (several new), and there were 7-8 bikes along with bike pumps. These details may seem unimportant, but when you have a large group, they simply make everything go smoothly. We will definitely stay here again if we return with a group this size.
