Happy Honu is a charming home with five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms located in Cape Fear Station. The name is a reference to the Hawaiian green turtle, which is known as a majestic connection between man, land, and sea. This reversed floor plan design features three bedrooms on the lower level: a spacious master bedroom with a private bath and king-sized bed. The second bedroom downstairs has a queen-sized bed and its own private bathroom. The third bedroom features a double bed, twin bunkbeds with a pull-out queen and an attached bathroom. The main, lower level also has a large deck for lounging and a spacious screened-in porch that is accessible from both the master bedroom and the queen bedroom. The upstairs features a large great-room, a very spacious and well-stocked kitchen, a dining room with eight seats at the table (plus five additional seats at the counter), a half bathroom and a large master bedroom with a king size bed and its private bathroom. The upper deck, off the living area, is a favorite spot for guests to relax on the outdoor couch and seating area or eat at the welcoming eight-seat table. Enjoy the covered area for family dinners and morning coffee. The private guest crofter located above the garage has a queen bed, a bath, and a small deck to relax on.
