My family and I enjoyed our stay at Walk in the Clouds. The place was wonderful. Everything was clean and well taking care of. The small touches of Christmas décor made the whole stay more cozy. We loved the home, the view, and all the amenities it has to offer. We will definitely come back.

This place is incredible and the listing undersells it. The views from the back porch are stunning and the whole place is super cozy, more than the pictures could ever suggest. The fireplace is amazing, we hung out by it all weekend. The road in is narrow and windy so plan to drive slowly and if it's winter, you'll need four wheel drive. We had such a great time and totally plan to book again! It's a gem.

Kiddos loved the Xbox, movies, board games. Shower soaps provided in the bathroom were a nice touch, especially since I forgot to pack some! Private lot, cozy feel all around.

Great cabin in the treetops. Private, quiet stay. We loved the gas fireplace and lovely hot tub. The kitchen was very well equipped. We would definitely stay again.

We found ‘A Walk in the Clouds' to be better than expected. It was clean, comfortable, and secluded. It had everything we needed and wanted. A view of Grandfather Mountain and the changing colors accented our visit. There was good communication with the owners/managers. We recommend it.

The cabin was beautiful, so much attention to detail & comfort. My family of 4 (2 teenagers) & 2 dogs had plenty of room . We were so comfortable, had so much fun & hope to return again!

Backwoods Paradise

This property is excellent for those who want to get away from it all. We lived on the back deck, surrounded by nature, alternating between soaking in the hot tub and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, while in the glow of the outside wood-burning fireplace. Aside from an encounter of the ursine kind on the first day (black bear in the trash cans), our stay was wonderful.

I chose this cabin specifically because the back deck is covered since the weather forecast called for rain. Still able to have a cozy fireplace, hot tub and grill in spite of some rain. Location is great many hikes nearby. We ended up driving a bit to hike to find dry weather. Seems like you could find a hike in any direction. The road up to the house is definitely steep. We only used one restaurant in Boone for take out due to Covid-19 but Boone seems like a lovely little town in other circumstances.

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The location was great and it made it easy to go to Boone, Blowing Rock and Beech Mountain. The cabin was decorated beautifully and loved all the little amenities - especially the toiletries in the bathrooms and the streaming programs on the TV. The patio was wonderful and even though it snowed, I went in the Hot Tub. We will definitely book again,

As an App State alumni, I like to visit the Boone area as much as possible. You become attached to the place, what can I say! These days I prefer to stay outside of town but close enough to visit a couple of times. This cabin provided just that! It is on a quiet, not too populated mountain, and has access to some great hiking trails. The cabin itself is beautiful! We enjoyed the hot tub, back porch fireplace, and the lovely master suite. It snowed the day of our arrival but we did not have an issue getting up the mountain. I would definitely recommend and hope to return!

We couldn't have been happier to pick this gem in the woods. It has everything you could want. The hot tub and outside fireplace were great. We had even brought our fur-baby and they were super accommodating! If you're looking for a quiet weekend away, I 100% recommend this property. The snow wasn't a bad touch either! :)
