Once you pass through the towering cedar gates into Eagles Nest, you sense immediately you have arrived somewhere very special.  The attention to detail throughout this luxurious private gated community is obvious wherever you look, from the hand-stacked stone walls to the paved road meandering past boulders and overlooking amazing vistas.  Just after passing the popular Great Camp area, you will arrive at Eagles Landing – nestled in the trees yet still offering wonderful mountain views from the decks.
FORGOT SOMETHING? NO WORRIES, the General Store has everything from GROCCERIES, SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO DRUG STORE needs and is within a one minute walk of Eagles Landing!  

No detail has been overlooked in this Eagles Nest luxury rental.  From the 30-foot stone gas log fireplace and wall of windows looking out to the view, to the custom-made furniture and fixtures, to the location – when you find Eagles Landing, you have found it all.  The living area, once you look away from the view, offers a custom sofa that is the epitome of mountain style, a gas log fireplace, rhododendron railings, and access to the deck that will summon you again and again to take in this little bit of paradise.

The well-planned kitchen will have everyone wanting to serve as chef, with large farmhouse-style copper sink, gas range with hammered-copper hood, simply beautiful granite counters, custom cabinets, and all you could desire to prepare meals. When everything is ready, the large dining table with custom seating awaits, providing room for all – with a view!

After dinner, enjoy your evening cocktail or coffee on one of the two decks, where you can take in the mountain vistas, passing wildlife, or take the kids out with you and just try to count all the stars!  For another option, head down to the large family room and enjoy your choice of entertainment – a custom log pool table, foosball, large screen television and more await.  Some may sit and catch up on the comfy furniture while others find their game of choice – show the kids your teenage favorite on the 60-game video arcade, or slip out onto the deck for a soak in the hot tub.  

Outdoor options await as well – the fire pit is the perfect spot for roasting s’mores while reliving family or college memories.  The lower yard is newly fenced in, giving a great place for your littles or dogs to run around (supervised, of course!). The Great Camp amenities and Amphitheater are within a minute walk and include,  volleyball, mini-golf, the 24/7 General Store, and access to some of the many trails within Eagles Nest.  

After all this fun, when it is time to turn in the bedrooms will not disappoint.  With three masters and an amazing bunkroom for the kids, who wouldn’t be ready to hit the hay?!  The first master is on the main level, with king bed, views, deck access, and an amazing master bath.  Some may prefer the tiled walk-in shower but be sure to allow yourself time to enjoy a soak in the hammered copper tub, big enough for two!

Upstairs you will find two additional master bedrooms, each with king bed and private bath.  And downstairs, the kids will be racing to claim their bunk.  With a double set of custom log bunk beds, there is room for four, or take advantage of the twin trundle for the younger kids who may not care to try out a bunk quite yet.

Even with all there is to do in Eagles Landing as well as within the Eagles Nest community, you may eventually decide to venture out and see the rest of our area.  The location is ideal, with Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain so close (mountaintop yoga and bike trails in summer, scenic lift rides in summer and autumn, and amazing winter recreation including skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and tubing); experience the shops, dining, and events in the bucolic downtown areas of Banner Elk, Valle Crucis, Boone and Blowing Rock; or just take a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Our area is abundant in natural beauty and recreation any time of year, so there are multiple options for golf, fly fishing, hiking, antiquing and more.  

Within the Eagles Nest luxury private gated community, guests may enjoy outdoor adventure and entertainment throughout the year.  Live music, hiking and ATV trails, playgrounds and more await, all with family fun and exploration in mind.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each

HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)

Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays.  This is strictly enforced. 

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax.
- YouTubeTV is provided on all TVs for watching TV, movies, sports, and local channels.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. 
- Pets are welcome in this home for an additional pet rent of $50/night each plus tax, max of two dogs.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development. 
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday. 
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Guests returning to Eagles Landing may receive a discount of 10% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
- This property has two exterior security cameras, first is the a ring doorbell camera that provides sight to the entryway and the driveway, the second is located above the right hand garage door which provides sight to the driveway and front porch.  No other cameras are present at the property. 
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
