Situated in the coveted community of Eagles Nest in Banner Elk, Golden Sunsets is designed for unforgettable mountain escapes. This upscale retreat features three elegant King Suites, a playful kids’ bunk room, and a comfortable queen sleeper sofa—providing room for up to 13 guests to relax in style. The spacious billiards room offers ample seating for everyone to gather, unwind, and enjoy a movie together after a day of adventure.

Step onto the upper deck and unwind in pure mountain luxury—curl up by the outdoor fireplace, indulge in a barbecue beneath a blanket of stars, escape into a good book, or enjoy a movie surrounded by the quiet of the Blue Ridge air.

On the lower deck, relaxation reaches a new level as you sink into the steaming hot tub while keeping up with your favorite sports team, enjoy a friendly game of cornhole, or take in a breathtaking sunset as it sets over the ridgeline.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each

HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)

Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays.  This is strictly enforced. 

 

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

STAYED AT GOLDEN SUNSETS BEFORE?  Returning guests receive a 10% room rent discount.  Not stackable with other discounts.  Contact our office for more info! 

Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsman's Lodge.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an included amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.            
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
-Check In is after 4pm. Check Out is by 10am.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement. 
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking, or by calling us with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.


CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
