The main level consists of the living area with vaulted ceilings that is open to the kitchen and dining area with seating for six. This living space was professionally renovated and designed in 2026; upgrades include stone work to the ceiling surrounding a luxury Xtrordinair gas fireplace, 65" 4K Samsung TV, all new furnishings, window treatments, light fixtures, and contemporary artwork. The fully-equipped kitchen updates include all new appliances and natural quartzite countertops with backsplash enhancements. There are also extensive, beautifully aged knotty pine trim and floors throughout.
Also on the main level is the perfectly updated master suite with king bed and ensuite bathroom, which was also completely renovated in 2026. The master bathroom includes a beautiful new tile shower, new vanity with natural, marble countertops, designer wallpaper, lighting and plumbing fixtures. French doors lead to the furnished upper deck that includes cafe-style table with seating for four and gas grill. The lower level contains a large second bedroom with queen bed , twin day bed with twin trundle, ensuite bathroom with tub shower, double vanity, and French doors that open to a small second deck. Each of the bedroom TVs, in addition to the living area TV, has a Roku where you can enjoy your favorite streaming services.
The top quality Bullfrog hot tub is privately and conveniently situated among the mountain rhododendron just off the front walkway. The walkway leading from the parking area has been substantially improved with a newly constructed walkway bridge to make accessibility much easier for our guests. The covered front porch is well appointed with two rockers for evening sunsets.

With the location so close to Main Street, you are also within 1.5 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain, less than an hour to all other area ski resorts, 10 minutes to Tweetsie Railroad, and 15 minutes to Boone.

- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Please be aware that there is construction occurring on the lot behind Altitudes Attitude. You may hear construction noises during the day and the workers may start prior to 9am.

- Parking is shared, and there is room for a maximum of 3 vehicles.
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
