Stay at So-Close Chalet - A Cozy 3 Bedroom Retreat for 7 Guests

So-Close Chalet is an authentic ski chalet within a short walk to the Bryce Resort lodge, ski slopes, bike park, and Sky Bryce airport.&nbsp; Leaf cover in the summertime somewhat obscures the view of the Resort lodge &amp; ski slopes, but fully visible in wintertime.&nbsp; The great room&rsquo;s huge glass doors, windows, deck create the sense tree house living.&nbsp; Please note that access to this ski chalet includes five steps up to entry level from the parking area, and the main floor is another 13 steps up from the entry level. Located within the Bryce Resort community, this chalet&#39;s convenience to the Resort can&#39;t be beat at a 1/4 mile mostly flat stroll to the Resort&rsquo;s main lodge and ski/bike lifts, and a 1.5 mile drive to Pale Fire Brewing, the Burn Barrel tavern, and the Basye Community Store.<br />

Many features of this chalet have been updated with a modern look and features, but retains its rustic charm. It&rsquo;s a perfect location for families and groups that value the flexibility of walking to and from the Resort.<br />

FEATURES &amp; AMENITIES:<br />
The open, spacious great room includes a dining area and living room with a wood stove.&nbsp; The updated kitchen features white shaker cabinets, stainless appliances, and black granite countertops.&nbsp; It&#39;s conveniently located adjacent to the great room and dining area and includes basic cookware, tableware, appliances, and a basket-style drip coffee maker (filters provided, but please bring your favorite grind).&nbsp; The dining area seats six at the table and another four at the kitchen bar.&nbsp; The main floor also includes two bedrooms with queen beds and full bath.&nbsp;<br />

The spacious loft looks out through the great room&#39;s huge windows and has three twin beds, a full bath, and a reading/gaming nook with a couch.<br />
<br />
The finished basement includes a Foosball table, an old school style two-player high-top game console, an office desk (with chair) for those working remotely, a full-size sleeper sofa, and an unfinished laundry room with full size washer &amp; dryer. Sleeps 7 comfortably.<br />
<br />
Head outside to the left of the house to enjoy the NEW spacious fire pit area.&nbsp; Adirondack chairs for the fire pit are stacked under the deck near the main entry door.&nbsp; Firewood is available locally from many places including the community store, the kiosk in our office parking lot (2565 Orkney Grade) and several other roadside firewood stands along Orkney Grade (Rt 263).&nbsp; Don&#39;t forget fire starters!<br />

The chalet is supplied with bedding (pillows, bedspreads, blankets), fresh bed linens, one towel set per max occupants, one travel-size bar soap per max occupants, two rolls toilet paper per bathroom, two dishwasher tabs, five trash bags, one bath trash bag per bathroom, one paper towel roll, one kitchen dish towel, one travel-size dish soap, and one scrubby pad.&nbsp; We encourage guests with large groups, or who are staying several nights, or who are heavy users of consumable supplies to bring extra supplies or purchase them at the local Basye Community Store.&nbsp;<br />
<br />
The flat screen Smart TV allows guests to log into popular streaming apps, and high-speed 50mbps WiFi internet is sufficient for working, streaming, and limited gaming.&nbsp; There&rsquo;s a DVD player for movie night and a wide selection of DVDs (free to borrow during your stay) at our Reception Office.<br />

This is a Self-Check-In unit.&nbsp; You&#39;ll receive check-in instructions via email seven days prior to arrival (or immediately if booking within seven days) that include the property&#39;s address, driving directions, a unique Key Code, and other important information.<br />
<br />
This property has a propane gas grill on the main level deck.&nbsp; It does NOT have an outdoor hot tub.<br />

Guests have unlimited access to our pool at our check-in office (2565 Orkney Grade).&nbsp; The Bryce Resort pool is reserved for Bryce Resort member use only.&nbsp; See pictures of our (Bryce Mountain Escapes) pool in the unit listing.&nbsp; It&rsquo;s open 9am-5pm, Monday through Saturday between Memorial Day and Labor Day.<br />

Quiet hours after 10:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security and police.<br />
