Property Description

The So-Close Chalet, a traditional ski lodge, is located within a short distance of the Bryce Resort Lodge, ski slopes and bike park. It also has easy access to Sky Bryce Airport. The Resort lodge and ski slopes are partially obscured by the leaf cover in summer, but visible in winter. The large glass doors and windows in the great room, along with the deck, create a feeling of living in a tree house. Please note that the access to this chalet is via five steps to the entry level, and another 13 steps to the main level. This chalet is located within the Bryce Resort Community. It's convenient location to the Resort is unbeatable. A 1/4 mile mostly level walk will take you to the Resort's main Lodge and ski/bike Lifts. Please take a close look at the photos. Drone photos provide a close-up view of the Resort. This traditional chalet has been updated to include modern features and a new look, while still maintaining its rustic charm. This is a great location for groups and families who value the freedom of not having to drive. FEATURES & AMENITIES:The spacious, open great room features a dining room and a living room with a fireplace. Firewood is available from late autumn to early spring. The updated kitchen features white shaker cabinets with stainless appliances and black granite countertops. The kitchen is conveniently located next to the dining room and great room. It includes basic cookware and tableware as well as appliances and a basket style drip coffee maker. The dining area has six seats at the table, and four more at the kitchen counter. The main floor includes two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and a full bathroom. The loft has three twin beds and a full bathroom. It also has a reading/gaming area with a couch. The finished basement has an office-style desk, which is perfect for remote workers, a full-size sofa sleeper, and a laundry room that's unfinished. Sleeps 7 The chalet comes with bedding (pillows and bedspreads), fresh linens for the bed, one towel per maximum occupant, two tabs of dishwasher soap, two rolls of toilet paper, five trash bags per bathroom, a bath trash bag, a paper towel roll, a kitchen dish towel, scrubbing pads, and sachets. We encourage guests who have large groups or are staying for several nights or who use a lot of consumables to bring extra supplies, or buy them at the Basye Community Store. The Smart TV is flat-screen and has a 50mbps WiFi connection. This is enough for streaming, working and some limited gaming. The Reception Office has a DVD player and a large selection of DVDs that you can borrow for free during your stay. OTHER NOTABLES:Pets are NOT permitted. This is a Self Check-In unit. You will receive instructions for check-in via email seven working days before your arrival (or immediately, if you book within seven days). These instructions include the property address, driving directions, an unique Key Code and other important information. This property has a gas grill on its main deck. It does not have a fire pit or outdoor hot tub. Our pool is located at the check-in desk (2565 Orkney grade). The Bryce Resort Pool is only available to Bryce Resort members. In the unit listing, you can see pictures of our pool (Bryce Mountain Escapes). It is open Monday through Saturday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 9am-5pm. Local security and police enforce the quiet hours after 10:00pm. MOUNTAIN & VALLEY FUN:Bryce Resort has many activities throughout the year. These include snow skiing/boarding and snow tubing.
