Property Description

Beech View Retreat, a large and beautiful 4BR/3BA Log Cabin at over 4,000ft in elevation, offers long-range views of Beech Mountain. The cabins are located in a quiet mountaintop where they have plenty of privacy and elbow room. The property has a lot of mature trees, walking areas, and a rolling terrain to explore.
The main floor features a great room that is open to the dining area and kitchen. It has wood floors, vaulted-ceilings, and exposed beams. The great room features nice furniture, a fireplace with gas logs, and a large HD Smart TV. A wall of glass doors and windows exposes the mountain views. The dining room table can seat 6 to 8 people, plus an additional 4 guests in bar stools on the adjacent custom wood counter. The kitchen is equipped with stainless appliances and granite countertops. It can prepare and serve meals for groups up to 12. The rear deck, which is off the living and dining areas, has views of the mountains. Most prominently, the top of Beech Mountain. A gas grill is available, as well as a live-edge dining table with bar stool seating. A picnic table is located on the open-air deck.
On the main floor, there is also a central bathroom with a bathtub/shower combination that serves both bedrooms on this level. One bedroom on the main level has a queen-sized bed and an HD Smart TV. The other main-level bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a twin-overtwin bunk bed and an HD Smart TV.
The open loft at the top of the stairs has a desk to catch up on work and a comfortable sleeper chair that opens into a twin-sized bed. The loft has the best views of the mountains from any room in the home. The king master bedroom is located upstairs. It has a full bathroom with a small electric fireplace and a seating area. There is also a HD Smart TV. The bed is positioned so that you can see the mountain range while you are lying in bed.
The lower level has a large game room and den with a Foosball, corner, gas log fire place, large HD Smart TV and comfortable furniture with a Queen sleeper sofa. The lower level also has a king-sized bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that features a jetted Jacuzzi tub, a separate rain shower, and granite vanity with two sinks. This bedroom opens up to the lower rear deck, which has a bistro table with chairs and the hot tub.

Winter Advisory
The final mile of a beautiful mountain road is required to reach this home with a stunning view. In the winter, you'll need a vehicle with 4 wheel drive and chains. During the summer, a two-wheel drive is sufficient to travel the road. Some guests were concerned about the possibility of wheel spinning. Please plan your trip accordingly.
