Relax and unwind at Lakefront Melody!This beautiful lakefront log home is located in a quiet cove of Lake Adger. It's just minutes away from Lake Lure and Chimney rock State Park. Lakefront Melody is the perfect place to unplug and relax (there is no TV and the Internet is not suitable for streaming). This mountain home is located 9.8 miles from the Tryon International Equestrian Center, 11.4 miles from the Beach at Lake Lure and 12.7 miles from Chimney Rock state park.

Perfect for BikingThis community has miles of paved road and beautiful surroundings. It is the perfect place to go for an evening stroll or bring your bike and ride down the paved road in the fresh mountain atmosphere.

Canoe or Kayak from Private Dock

The canoe, three kayaks and the private dock are all available for you to use. You are welcome to bring a boat and access the public Lake Adger site which is only 2 miles away. Please contact us for any size restrictions, regulations, etc. The lake is a 438-acre body of water with 14 miles of unspoiled shoreline. It offers great fishing, but a license is required. It is also only 13 miles away from Lake Lure, if you wish to launch your boat.

Beautiful Log Cabin and Desirable Amenities

This beautiful log home is perfect for a relaxing getaway or a long weekend. It offers all the comforts that you would expect. The vaulted ceiling, lakeside windows and loft add majesty and warmth to the living/dining room. The main floor has a fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a range, a microwave, a coffee maker, and a fireplace. It is perfect for romantic evenings, quiet family time, or cool evenings. The deck is accessible through French doors and offers a great view of the lake. It's also a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or tea.

The main floor also has two additional bedrooms (both double beds) as well as a large bathroom in the hallway. Basement laundry (washer/dryer), and life jacket storage. You will find a large loft upstairs with a rocker, rocker chair, futon and desk. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a baby bed and a twin bed (if younger children are with you). The private bathroom has a corner jetted bathtub for relaxing away from your worries. This house has a wonderful view from every room. Even the trees can be seen from the loft bath.

Pack your clothes and grab some groceries from the nearby stores, then relax and enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains foothills, Lake Adger and Lakefront Melody!

AREA WIDE NOTE: Lake Lure is undergoing a drawdown beginning January 1, 2024 and lasting through the first quarter (March 31, 2024). The lake will be lowered approximately 1 foot a day until it reaches 12 feet. During this time, infrastructure maintenance, dredging and dam projects will be accelerated. These efforts by the town of Lake Lure could affect the access to the lake or restrict any lake use. Click here for more information. The lake is expected to return to normal levels in mid-late April. We understand that this is an inconvenience but it allows you to enjoy Lake Lure's full beauty during the holiday season and fall. This will not affect smaller lakes in the region, only Lake Lure.

No pets, no exceptionsAll of our vacation rentals are smoke-free. Parking 2 vehicles. Check-in is at 4:00 pm local time, or any time after. Check-out is at 10:00 a.m. local or earlier.
