Conveniently located near the bottom of Ski Hill Road in Lutsen, Minnesota, this amazing location provides easy access to Lutsen Mountains Recreation Area as well as many other local attractions. In the winter, enjoy a day of skiing at the Midwest’s premiere ski resort. During the summer months, the Alpine Slide and site-seeing Gondola are two popular activities to do at Lutsen Mountains. The Superior National at Lutsen Golf Course is a recently renovated 27-hole golf course located right across the street. The Gitchi Gami State Trail is easily accessible across Highway 61 from the Lutsen Log Cabins. Just ten miles in either direction you will find a fabulous State Park: going west you will find Temperance River State Park and going east you will find Cascade River State Park. The picturesque town of Grand Marais is just a twenty-minute scenic drive away. Grand Marais is home to the North House Folk School and Grand Marais Art Colony. You will also find dozens of ma and pa shops and restaurants you can enjoy during your stay. Spend your days hiking, biking, boating, or just relaxing at Lutsen Log Cabin 403. You will check in to your property directly, and will not need to interact with anyone. If you need anything during your stay please reach out to our office during regular business hours. We also offer an after-hours emergency phone line you can use in the event of after-hours maintenance issues which can be found in your check-in details.

Pet Policy: Pets are allowed at some homes with an additional pet fee. Not all homes are pet-friendly, please read the description of the property you are interested in to see if the home is pet-friendly. If it's not, there will not be a mention of pets anywhere on the property description. The maximum number of pets allowed in the home is 2. Pet owners must: pick up droppings, keep pet leashed when outside, keep the pet off of furniture and bedding, and must kennel the pet if the pet is left alone in the home. Guests staying in townhomes and condos may not leave pets unattended. Failure to follow the pet policy will result in a $250 fine charged to the card used to make your final payment. Parties found with pets without prior approval will be asked to leave immediately without a refund and will pay a $250 cleaning fee.
