Located just 10 minutes away from Emerald Isle is Skipping Stones, this cozy 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom condo in Silver Creek. Conveniently located to many Crystal Coast attractions including Downtown Swansboro, the Carteret County Speedway, Mac Daddy's & more. The neighborhood is located near Star Hill, a popular public golf course. The North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores is about a 20-minute drive down the island and well worth the visit. The Crystal Coast is rich with history & coastal culture, great cuisine, art, and so much more! We welcome you to come & experience North Carolina like a local!
Star Hill Golf Course is up the road and is open to the public for both golf and for use of the swimming pool. Public access for the pool is $20 per guest. The owner's of Gaffer's Restaurant in Emerald Isle have just taken over the restaurant at the golf course "Birdies At Star Hill" and will be open to the public starting May 22, 2025.
Carteret County Speedway is less than 5 minutes away and the current racing season has begun. Hammock's Beach State Park is just 10 minutes away and the ferry is up and running to Bear Island. You can also paddle out to the island via a kayak. Emerald Isle's Western Access is about a 10 minute ride. From April 13th to September 15th you will need to pay to park. Cost is $4 per hour - not to exceed $16 a day.
Mac Daddy's Entertainment Center is less than a mile from the property and offers dining, bowling, go-karts and mini golf. Great fun for the entire family.
Croatan National Park is also a short drive and offer's hiking at the Cedar Point Tideland Trail - a 1.6 mile loop on the White Oak River. Also has a small boat launch for your kayak.
Don't forget to visit historic Swansboro while visiting. Plenty of local restaurants and shopping for all. Swansboro hosts 4th of July Fireworks so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.
