Utopia - As seen on Bahamas Life! Windermere Beach House

Introducing Utopia, our remodeled home on exclusive Windermere Island, which we are renting for the first time.  Enjoy the understated ease of Utopia, as comfortable as the warm breezes blowing throughout, and as welcoming and friendly as the people of Eleuthera.

Utopia is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home sitting on top of a small hill with amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean on the east and the Savannah Sound on the west.  Enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunset every day, and phenomenal stars overhead each night.  

Utopia features a large and beautiful in- ground pool with views of the Sound.  The grounds are shaded by mature trees and flowering bushes for the hummingbirds.

The house has just been updated with all new furnishings throughout, a new kitchen, new AC, and a new roof. The bedrooms all have beautiful water views and are situated around the large living and dining areas.  Every bedroom has an en-suite bath.  The bedrooms consist of one king bedroom with an ocean view,  one queen bedroom with a view of the sound, and an ocean-view bunk room with two bunk beds, so it can sleep 4.  Each en-suite bath has a walk-in shower.

The house comes with all the amenities one could want in an easy, comfortable beach house. There are 2 stand-up paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 4 bikes, board games, art supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, some snorkel gear, towels, a gas grill, and a back-up generator.  We also have up to two golf carts that can be rented for $50 per day.  They can be used to go to the Club or any other location on Windermere Island.

The house has a well-equipped kitchen with Nespresso machine, stove, oven, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave.  Other amenities at Utopia include a laundry room, superfast Starlink internet/WIFI, internet TV, Bluetooth speakers, landline phone, two outdoor showers, and a fire pit.  A chef and/or maid service are available for an additional charge.

Windermere Beach, a world-class, 5-mile-long pink-sand beach is 150 yards away (a 1 or 2 minute walk) down a private footpath.  West Beach on the Sound, which is a nursery for baby turtles, fish, and the occasional dolphin is a short bike ride away.

Utopia comes with membership in the Windermere Island Club, a 5 minute walk from the house.  The club has a heated pool, tennis courts, gym, TV room, and in season, a restaurant/bar.  

Beautiful Governor’s Harbour is a 25-minute drive away and offers many great restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, banks with ATMs, island bakery, coffee shop and other stores. There is a grocery store called Midway Cost Cutters 6 minutes from the house which offers food delivery upon arrival.
