This charming hillside home is located in Rainbow Bay, directly across from the beautiful & secluded Rainbow Bay beach, Eleuthera. This private and fully furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage is situated on 1/3 acre of land surrounded by lush and mature island vegetation with beautiful sea views from the large verandah. The cottage has central air-conditioning and satellite TV, landline phone, very fast Starlink WIFI, a cozy living room, dine-in kitchen, dishwasher, charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower. The master bedroom has a queen bed. The guest bedroom has twin beds which can be converted to a king bed.

Key Lime Cottage is ideal for families, couples and honeymooners, and is situated literally across the small road (a minute's walk) from Rainbow Bay's private beach. The beach itself offers sparkling white sand and crystal clear azure waters perfect for shelling, snorkeling and fishing and is a naturally protected cove. Convenient picnic benches, secluded tiki huts on the beach are included as part of the rental. Rainbow Bay also has a private tennis court.

Rainbow Bay offers one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. From the above pictures you can see a small peninsula which juts out into the Caribbean. It is home to many of the island's tropical fish and rays. If you are a snorkeler, you will not be disappointed. From Key Lime cottage, you also have easy access to the Atlantic Ocean beaches.

It is just a mile to the acclaimed Rainbow Inn, which offers some of the best food on the island and live music many evenings. The nearest market for supplies is located just a few minutes away by car if you choose to cook at home in the fully-equipped kitchen. There is also now an organic vegetable farm five minutes to the north from the villa.

Centrally located on Eleuthera, Key Lime cottage is the is the perfect location for exploring the whole island north to south, from Harbor Island to Lighthouse Point, 100 miles of beaches, beauty and history. It is only 15 minutes from Governor's Harbor airport and 25 minutes from Governor's Harbor.

Eleuthera is a very friendly and safe island. It is a beautiful, relaxed destination with turquoise seas, and beautiful sunny weather. Once you come, you will definitely want to return.

Me and my hubs thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Key Lime Cottage was in a lovely location. I can not imagine another location being better. The cottage was comfortable and supplied with all we needed. We met the caretakers at their Friday/Saturday Bar-b-que and we're the loveliest people. I highly recommend stopping for their food.

A major highlight was the locals. Everyone was warm, friendly and delightful to talk to. I loved the relaxed vibe on the island. There were no fast food or restaurant chains in Eleuthera. I loved all the secluded beaches. A busy beach might have had 12-15 people. the views were all breathtaking.

We traveled the island north to south stopping at different beaches, Twin Coves, Surfers Beach, Ten Bay, Tay Bay, Rainbow Bay, Tippy's beach, Harbor Island, to name a few. We explored caves and snorkeled and met other vacationers.

We ate at Tippy's Restaurant, Harbor Pointe, Delish restaurant, Rainbow Inn restaurant, and several small take out places like DJ's Cafe and Cravings. I would recommend them all.

I recommend Eleuthera Island and Key Lime Cottage to friends, family, and strangers.

The overall experience in our Eleuthera vacation and our stay at Key Lime Cottage was terrific. Key Lime Cottage was a very nice play to stay in. Nicely detailed, plenty of room for my wife and I. We loved having breakfast each morning on the veranda. Also, the very short 500 ft. walk to Rainbow Beach each morning was super cool. We also liked that the location of the cottage was central to many of the places north and south that we ended up going to each day. But also, we spent two of our 10 days right there on Rainbow Bay Beach just relaxing in the sun, wading in the clear waters and snorkeling. The local team as well as the owner and management team was always super responsive. A really terrific vacation. Thanks so much!

The Key Lime Cottage in Rainbow Bay was the perfect little spot for our anniversary trip. The house is located across the street from one of the best beaches on Eleuthera. There’s a little trail directly across the street to the beach. You are secluded by landscaping so it feels super private. The home had everything we needed and would definitely stay here again.

The Rainbow Bay beach is in a very protected cove. Its calm when other beaches are rough. Easy walk.

House was as represented, could use a bit of updating. Outside shower was great after coming back from swimming. The deck is very comfortable on hot afternoons when there is a breeze, you can hear the ocean, but only a sliver of water shows above the vegetation between house and beach.

Plenty of grocery stores, restaurants and beaches to explore north and south of this location. Prices were double what we were expecting for food, both in restaurants and grocery stores, the good news was there were no shortages.

Well situated near Rainbow Bow Bay beach, one of the most beautiful and best swimming and snorkeling beaches on Eleuthera. Very clean and comfortable home. Well maintained with two bedrooms and two baths. Local management was very friendly and helpful. No problem with check in or check out. Home is in the nice neighborhood of Rainbow Bay and about five miles from the town of James Cistern which several small grocery stores.
