Welcome to the French Leave South Beach!!
This luxury villa is located directly on the most sought-after beach on the island, a mile-long stretch of pink sand that has been ranked in the top 20 beaches of the world. French Leave Beach has only half a dozen houses on it and is usually deserted.
The "Dogtrot" villa features spectacular sea views from every room. The great room looks out at the ocean through a wall of windows. The sea view kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and African mahogany counter tops.
The Dogtrot has two master suites, each furnished with a king bed and equipped with a full en-suite bath appointed in African mahogany. Both bedrooms have ocean views. The bathrooms feature full showers and Rohl fixtures throughout. There is a rollaway bed available for a 5th guest if needed.
Beyond the private doors made of African mahogany is the outdoor living space offering 180% views of French Leave Beach and the Atlantic Ocean.
Amenities include vaulted tray ceilings, ceiling fans, air conditioning, Super-fast Starlink WIFI internet, flat screen satellite TV, washer/dryer, and a backup generator, grill, beach chairs, cooler & umbrella. This Villa is situated on the most incredible beach in all the Bahamas. French Leave beach has it all with its pristine pale pink sand, crystal clear waters and quiet environment. The double en-suite master bedrooms was the perfect setup for my husband and I our 2 boys. The unit was stocked with lots of linens, towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, glasses, plates, coolers which were all in new and perfect condition including the washer / dryer which was so helpful during our stay. The Villa is modern, clean and well maintained. There was a helpful groundskeeper who kept the loungers, beach and landscaping immaculate. Melissa is super knowledgeable about the island and extremely responsive to any questions. The Villa is also close to many amazing restaurants including the Buccaneer, Bacchus, Tippy’s and 1648. We went on amazing boating adventures with extraordinary marine life such as turtles, stingrays, starfish, dolphins, and coral reefs. The fishing is amazing - caught over 12 fish which the Captain filleted for us. My boys enjoyed paddle boarding, surfing and exploring the sites. This was not our first visit to the island and it won’t be our last. We look forward to returning to Eleuthera and staying at Dogtrott Villa again! Thank you for the most wonderful incredible memories.

This trip was our first visit to Eleuthera (and the Bahamas) and it started out as a couples trip but ended up turning into a girls trip instead which was so much fun! The house fit us perfectly and everything was exactly has described in the overview and pictures. The beds were comfortable which was great since we were there for 9 nights. Everything was very clean but our only little frustration was there was no broom in the house and since we spent so much time at the various beaches, it would have been great to have a broom. The living room furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had most everything we needed. We cooked some great dinners and breakfasts in the villa. The bathrooms had plenty of towels for bathing and the beaches and the washer and dryer was very helpful. It was extremely windy for the first few days so we didn't really hang out at French Leave Beach for the first few days but that is the beauty of Eleuthera, you can always go to the Caribbean side and find calm beautiful beaches. The villa is in the middle of the island which made it convenient as we fully explored all 110 miles of Eleuthera. There is a similar villa right next door which was also booked (and this was their 3rd time staying there). Lots of good food but definitely check out French Leave Resort for breakfast. Lastly, I have to say that Pam at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was so wonderful and helpful. Since this was our 1st time here, she answered a ton of questions for us for the last year! We were extremely comfortable traveling by ourselves because of all of the information Pam gave us! We will stay here again and book through Eleuthera Vacation Rentals.

We absolutely loved the Dogtrot Villa! It is a beautiful home on a gorgeous beach. It is brand new, was spotlessly clean, and everything works! Generator did kick in on few days and worked great. Internet was very good, had satellite TV if you wanted it. The location is perfect for access to groceries, restaurants, etc. but still quiet and private. Loved it! Would highly recommend. Pam, Michelle, and team managing the property were wonderful to work with! Very responsive, friendly, and professional!
