Simple Life Cottage is a brand-new 850 sq ft waterfront-view home in Governors Harbour, Eleuthera, designed for two guests with one bedroom and one full bathroom. The cottage is near a beach and includes a deeded path providing access to pink-sand Poponi Beach. Ocean glimpses are visible from the cottage and its broad veranda, and the setting supports water-focused activities such as snorkeling, boating, and fishing.

Inside, the layout centers on a king bedroom with a walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. A modern kitchen includes quartz countertops and is equipped with an apartment-size refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, dishwasher, and cooking basics, plus a kitchen island for prep and casual meals. This brand new cottage, just completed in February of 2023, is a two minute walk down a deeded path to spectacular pink-sand Poponi Beach, which is one of the most sought-after beaches on Eleuthera. There is excellent snorkeling right off our beach. Bring your snorkel gear!

A three-minute walk down that beach takes you to La Bougainvillea boutique resort with its excellent beachfront restaurant and bar. A four-minute drive takes you to Tippy’s famous beachfront restaurant. Island Farms market is just 5 minutes from the property. It offers fresh produce plus homemade breads, cinnamon rolls, jams, jellies, dressings, pesto, salsas, and so much more. Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, is just eight minutes away by car. Governors Harbour has restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops, liquor stores, and a great fish fry every Friday night.

The Simple Life Cottage features quartz countertops in this modern kitchen equipped with an apartment size refrigerator, oven/range and microwave. It is fully equipped with a coffee-maker, toaster, cookware, dishes, and cutlery. There is a separate laundry room with a washer/dryer.

The bedroom features a king bed, walk in closet and a full en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. The living room also has a pullout sofa. Both bedroom and living room open onto the lovely broad veranda. Glimpses of the ocean are visible from throughout the cottage and veranda.

Amenities include backup water tank, air conditioning throughout, WIFI, whole house back-up generator, washer/dryer, a TV with Netflix, beach umbrella, cooler, gas barbecue grill, and fans in every room.
