Thousands come to the Beaufort Shrimp Festival held on the first Friday & Saturday in October. Enjoy restaurants competing against each other to determine who has the BEST shrimp recipe. Live entertainment and concerts, a Saturday morning 5K run, arts and crafts vendors and an educational fair dedicated to highlighting the ecology of the coastal waterways.
