This 3 bedroom 3 bathroom downstairs condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Valle Crucis mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen is astonishing with custom kitchen cabinetry, granite counter-tops, hardwood floors, and stainless steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built in gas grill with a hood on the deck. The living room is as spectacular as the kitchen with a cultured stone fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a flat screen TV. The master bedroom is spacious with a mountain view and king size bed. It is set up for relaxation with his and her sinks and a gorgeous tile shower. The guest rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with queen beds in each room. The bathrooms are upgraded with ceramic tile flooring. Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. This was a beautiful property- great view and very clean. My only complaint is the showers in the secondary bathrooms. It is hard to shower with a curtain wrapped around you and no water pressure. A beautiful property! We have stayed here before and will stay here again. The unit has almost everything we need except an ice cream scoop and salad tongs. Lol Could also use a couple more blankets for beds.

The one and only issue we had was trying to get the gas fireplace lit. I followed the instructions but even after holding the pilot setting for a minute, it never would stay lit. A fire would have been nice that weekend...

Condo was very clean and appreciated having extra clean towels in kitchen and bathrooms. Check-in and check-out were very easy with outside boxes. Made reservations online so never interacted with Foscoe staff, but everything was easy and smooth with rental process.

We had a great time. The only negative was that the logs didn't work after the first night. Otherwise, a great time. Also, my friend left her clarisonic face cleaner in the condo. Hoping you guys can locate that for her- she called yesterday and the person who answered the phone said she would look into it.

We stayed at echota on the ridge 5 years ago and enjoyed our stay so we sort of knew what to expect. THis development is incredibly well maintained. Obviously during COVID we spent a lot more time at the unit than would otherwise. The grill was fantastic. While the cleanliness and comfort exceeded expectations I'd like to bring a few things to your attention that perhaps may not have mattered had it not been for COVID. The kitchen could have been more equipped. There was no cutting board, and need a serving bowl or two. It would have been helpful had you provided more than 2 dishwashing machine soaps given reluctance to go to stores. Also, altho I was told there was a basic coffee maker it was keurig and there were no pods-- Again,tHis would not have made a difference had it not been for COVID.-- We figured out early on which grocery stores did curbside pick-up- but perhaps a list of this would have been helpful. We drove by the club house but didn't use any of the amenities. This is the only place I'd stay in the area. This was not a total vacation... We spent many of the days working- The internet/wifi was perfect. Thank you.

Another Wonderdful stay at Echota. The condo was clean and had lovely decor. Chalakee Lodge CH-1 could use more kitchen utensils, cookware and serving plates. I would also prefer that the mattress would be covered with mattress pad.
