Property Description

Perfectly located in the growing East Village, you'll be close to everything in Des Moines! Free parking, an onsite gym and amazing views of the downtown skyline await you! Located seconds from the I-235, you'll have quick access to shopping, dining, nightlife etc. You'll feel at home with beautiful quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washer/dryer and more. Exceptional views of the downtown skyline, Iowa State Capitol and the East Village, this is the place to be!If this unit is not available for the dates you need, please contact me! I have several other units in the same building!

Access

On the lower level of the building, there is a fitness center with treadmills, ellipticals, and free weights. Across the hall is the fitness studio with mats, medicine balls and more. There is also a lounge area with seating, TV (cable), wireless internet, water and a coffee bar providing a unique, open-air experience. On the second floor, the skyline terrace is a perfect place to watch the city unfold. Offering exceptional views of the downtown skyline, premium fireworks viewing, seating and more. Outdoors, there is a rack if you need a place to secure your bike. Please remember to bring your own lock. The buildings ownership/management group is currently in the process of enhancing several areas of the property, which may result in some amenity limitations.

Transit

Car Bus Uber Taxi Bike Rentals (Many locations throughout the city) “D-Line” Downtown Shuttle (Free downtown shuttle connecting the East Village to the business district, Gateway West, Pappajohn Sculpture Park, State Capital and more. This service runs Monday-Friday from 6:30AM to 6:00PM and on Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM. There is a stop just one block away.) The building is located approximately 2 minutes from I-235. You are also provided with an on-site parking space at the property.

The East Village is one of the most vibrant and eclectic areas of the Des Moines area. Enjoy the Downtown Farmers Market just a few minutes away from May to October. A touring Broadway production at the Civic Center is just a few blocks away. Some of the top recording artists stop at Wells Fargo Arena on their tour, which is just across the river. Whatever your interest may be, Des Moines has something for everyone!

Space

Just inside the front door, there is a small entry area. The kitchen is fully stocked with a Keurig, K-pods, bottled water, toaster, plates, bowls, silverware, drinking glasses, wine glasses, kitchen utensils, pots & pans, bakeware and more. There is also a dining table with seating. The living room has a sofa, chair and smart TV where you can use your existing account for Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc. There is also cable and wireless internet provided throughout. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, dresser, nightstand and a separate closet area with hangers, iron, ironing board, extra sheets, drying rack and more. There is also a full-size washer & dryer complete with laundry supplies. All of the windows in the apartment have privacy shades and room darkening curtains (not pictured) are in the bedroom. The bathroom has a shower with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, extra towels, hair dryer and more. While I love all pets, only dogs are allowed (restricted breeds: Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Akita, Rottweiler, Chow, Doberman Pinscher & Mastiff). Please be aware any violation of this will result in additional fees.
