We had a wonderful time!!! We loved the cabin and would love to return again!!

Lovely Little Cabin
by Jessica on 10/16/2020
We loved our stay at the cabin in Little House on the Prairie. We stayed there specifically for how close it is to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park, that it is pet friendly, and that it was a cabin-style home. It has all of the amenities you need. The bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well and the water in the shower was hot.

Great *4-Stars
by James on 09/27/2020
Great place and location for a small family or couple. It does needs some updates though. Heaters are noisy and woke my wife and I up nightly when they started and a constant metal humming. Other than that, it was amazing.

Great location
by Kathryn on 08/22/2020
We really enjoyed our stay at the 'Little Cabin on the Prairie!' The directions and check in were easy and we especially liked that The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect for visiting Yellowstone, fishing, mountain biking, and kayaking. Although, we didn't see any moose around the cabin, we did see a couple of sandhill cranes one morning. One evening around dusk, we saw a juvenile bear running across the prairie in front of the cabin, turning around every few seconds looking like it escaped and was enjoying it's freedom. We would definitely stay here again!

Marvelous
by Helen on 08/15/2020
We loved staying at your cabin. The mountains, sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking.

Wonderful stay!
by Kelly on 06/10/2019
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful first trip to Yellowstone - enhanced by our decision to choose Little House on the Prairie for lodging. Everything was just as it was described and we were delighted by the solitude and beauty that surrounds. We required no assistance during our stay, as everything was described and explained in the directions provided. Thank you!

Shotgun Valley Cabin
by Karl on 10/21/2018
Great cabin in Shotgun Valley. Close to the Henry's Fork for great fishing and plenty of country to hike in. Cabin has a well equipped kitchen and the queen bed is very comfortable.

Cozy
by Wesley on 09/14/2018
It was warm and cozy. We were only there in evenings as we were in Yellowstone Park all day. A little farther from the park then we hoped for. Quiet, well furnished.

Peace & Serinity!
by Karen on 09/09/2018
If you want to get away from it all and enjoy the natural beauty of this area this is the place to stay. Comfy bed and just the right amount of space. We had fox, cute little skunk and moose come by the visit. It was perfect.

Just perfect
by Pulkit on 09/04/2018
Our stay here was perfect. The cabin was clean, was very close to the West entrance of Yellowstone and was the ideal place to unwind after a long day at the park. The driving directions were very helpful and made it easy to find. 5/5 star!

Great little cabin
by Tracy on 08/08/2018
We had a great time at the cabin. Loved that it was up to date, all modern furniture and well maintained. Only thing was the fire pit, we would have liked to use it but it was surrounded by thistles.

The best place ever!
by Vivian on 07/27/2018
We loved this little cabin, perfect for 2 love birds, views at sunset and sunrise were spectacular, loved watching the birds and animals. The service was excellent. We will be coming back I am sure.

What a great little cabin!
by Jennifer on 06/30/2018
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the little house on the prairie! There were so many things about this place that we loved - the amenities were wonderful - kitchenette, laundry, fire pit, deck, etc. The cabin was very clean and comfortable and the host was very professional-easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. It was very quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed seeing the wildlife from the deck. The west entrance to Yellowstone was about a 45 minute drive- not bad at all, but a little further than we thought. We loved our time at the cabin! :)

Beautiful cabin
by Meredith on 05/30/2018
The little house on the prairie had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting

Has Kitchen & Everything We Needed
by Susan on 09/11/2017
If you don't want to stay in Yellowstone National Park but want to be close enough to get to the West Yellowstone entrance in about 30 minutes this is a great place. We like to be able to cook on our trips and the kitchen had everything we needed. We liked the prairie setting as it is very different then our city neighborhoods. We could see the other homes in the neighborhood but they were far away. I hear there are moose in Island Park so I hope I see one next time.

Secluded
by Sam on 08/06/2017
Cheri's place is perfect for a secluded stay near Yellowstone. The washer/dryer was much needed after a week of hiking. There are incredible views from all sides. Next time I stay here I will be staying longer.

Quiet Environment
by 俊杰 on 07/19/2017
The house is located at a meadow which means it has enjoyable scene and also quiet environment, we often see some small animals pass by, it is very relax to just sit on the grass and look around after travel for all day.

Lovely Place

Cute little cabin
by Amy C. on 06/15/2017
Small but fun little cabin. Clean and when we had a problem with the water heater they came right out a fixed it. It was great! The only thing was that although wifi and Netflix were included the wifi was too slow to really be useful or to run the Netflix.

Location was Quiet & Beautiful
by LeeAnne on 05/30/2017
The cabin was clean, quite and the perfect place for my families little getaway. The proximity to Yellowstone was fantastic and the location was quite and beautiful! Would highly recommend!

This is a Gem!
by Felicia on 08/28/2016
This was an absolute gem. Located conveniently to the West Entrance of the park, but also pretty much in the middle of the South and North gates so not difficult to get to different areas of Yellowstone. The cabin was cute, private, and had great views during sunrise and sunset. Communication was stellar. I had booked this for my parents vacation, so just needed to ask a bunch of questions to that I could relay the message to them - and Cheri answered them all in the timely matter. There was also a long, very detailed email sent about the property, weather, and local attractions which helped. Prior to our stay, someone called us to ensure we were ready for the trip. Overall great experience. Even though I did not stay with my parents, they came home raving about the entire experience, including the cabin.

Perfect Size for Family of 4
by Travis on 08/20/2016
Had a great time here, was a short drive to Yellowstone park. Perfect size for my family of 4. Appreciated having full cooking supplies here to make breakfast in morning and internet to plan next days adventures. Had a couple moose right outside our door one morning, very neat. Would recommend.

It was Perfect!

The house is a great place to visit Yellowstone NP. Cheri was easy to reach and helpful. Our family enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for our needs! Thanks Cheri!

5/5 Stars No Question
by Tyler on 07/10/2016
This has been my favorite travel experience to-date by far. The hosts helped me with any questions or concerns I had immediately, and were just the nicest around! The cabin was breathtaking. It's a beautiful little get away parked out on a scenic swath of land, the mountains looming on the horizon in the distance. I got to listen to the wind sweep through the brush during the day, and I night I could look up at the night sky and see the stars and the faint outlines of the Milky Way Galaxy. The cabin was situated in a small, welcoming area. To get to it you drive through some of the most beautiful country I've seen, with tall sentinels of trees, winding roads, and a sense of adventure around every turn. In every way I would recommend this cabin to another traveler or travelers. I'm really sad I had to leave when I did, because I was just settling in...I'm definitely coming back when my next round of vacation is due :). 5/5 stars, no question.

Located on a Beautiful Piece of Property
by Leah on 06/12/2016
Cheri was very accommodating and quick to respond. The cabin is located on a beautiful piece of property in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay there again if we return to Island Park.

Nice little getaway
by Brian G. on 01/07/2016
I took my wife here for our anniversary. We went fishing and visited Mesa falls. The cabin is quaint, very private and the bed was comfortable. We saw Elk almost every day. This would be a great jumping off point for Yellowstone. We're definitely coming back in the summer .
