POOL NOTICE:&nbsp; The pool will be closed from June 21 - July 2, due to exterior work being completed close to the pool area.<br />

AIR CONDITIONING UPDATE - January 2026<br />
In the late fall of 2025, the central air conditioning system at Hale Kona Kai was replaced.&nbsp; The HVAC equipment that services the individual condo was also inspected, with and any and all required maintenance/repairs completed.&nbsp; The air conditioning is in peak condition at this time.<br />

<span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">This beautifully upgraded oceanfront property offers unobstructed views of the Kona coastline. &nbsp;The ocean is teeming with life! &nbsp;Sit on your lanai and watch spinning dolphins year around and humpback breaching just offshore during the winter and spring months. &nbsp;Turtles and eels find plenty of sustenance in the tide pools. &nbsp;Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sound of the ocean.<br />

It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.</span></span></span></p>
<span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">Hale Kona Kai is a special complex right on the ocean in the heart of Kona. &nbsp;It is a short walk to anything you need; restaurants, entertainment, shopping and beaches. &nbsp;An elevator provides easy access. &nbsp;The property boasts a heated salt water pool and BBQ area. &nbsp;Laundry rooms are available on each floor.</span></span>

<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt"><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"><span style="line-height:115%">Oceanfront property disclaimer: this unit could not get any closer to the ocean. It makes for great, unobstructed ocean views along with a bird&rsquo;s eye view of the reef below.&nbsp; However, during the winter in Hawaii, we get large swells and wind off the water.&nbsp; Your view may be impaired by saltwater dried onto the glass.&nbsp; During high swells and wind and or rain, it may not be comfortable to sit on the lanai.&nbsp; Please take this information into consideration when booking. If you feel these issues may adversely impact your stay, please call us. We may have other properties not quite so close to the water that may better see your needs.</span></span></span></p>

There are plenty of places to snorkel from shore, or take a snorkeling cruise.
