Hale Kona Kai unit 312 is one of our most popular units at Hale Kona Kai.&nbsp; This 3rd floor corner unit features a wraparound lanai facing west and south for full, unobstructed ocean views and the best possible breeze!&nbsp; The unit has been beautifully updated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay on top of the ocean.&nbsp; Central air conditioning keeps the unit comfortable, especially on those warmer days and nights. &nbsp; The most up-to-date internet/wifi equipment&#39; features high speed wifi, a necessity for &quot;working&quot; remotely where Zoom conference calls may be necessary.&nbsp; Watch never-ending spectacular sunsets from the comfort of your lanai.<br />

POOL NOTICE:&nbsp; The pool will be closed from June 21 - July 2, due to exterior work being completed close to the pool area.<br />

AIR CONDITIONING UPDATE - January 2026<br />
In the late fall of 2025, the central air conditioning system at Hale Kona Kai was replaced.&nbsp; The HVAC equipment that services the individual condo was also inspected, with and any and all required maintenance/repairs completed.&nbsp; The air conditioning is in peak condition at this time.<br />

This unit comes equipped with beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a small cooler for guests use. It may or may not have some snorkel gear that was left by previous guests. We do not provide snorkel gear. Non-fitting snorkel gear takes all the fun out of snorkeling, so it is best to rent your equipment while you are here.<br />

The ocean is teeming with life! &nbsp;Sit on your lanai and watch spinning dolphins year around and humpback breaching just offshore during the winter and spring months. &nbsp;Turtles and eels find plenty of sustenance in the tide pools. &nbsp;Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sound of the ocean.<br />

The island has many resort-quality golf courses, the closest one within 5 miles. There are plenty of places to snorkel from shore, or take a snorkeling cruise. Kona offers world-class fishing opportunities. &nbsp;Catch an ono for dinner or a world record Pacific Blue Marlin.&nbsp; The Big Island has 13 climates and many cool things to do and explore, from a live volcano to botanical gardens and country living to great beaches, snorkeling and surfing opportunities.<br />
