All club memberships must be purchased directly with the club. Bald Head Island Services is not able to answer club related questions or coordinate your club memberships for you. Links and how to sign up with both clubs will be sent upon booking your rental.
Come enjoy the serenity of our cottage! It is tucked in the maritime forest with lots of privacy but convenient to all the islands amenities. Our community has a pool for your enjoyment and less than a 2 min golf cart ride to the beach! We have an open floor plan with the master and guest bedrooms downstairs and an additional private bedroom upstairs. The kitchen has been recently updated with new appliances. We have a great sunroom, screened in porch, and wrap around deck that is perfect for outdoor entertaining. We have 2- 4 passenger golf carts and a Lifestyle Temporary membership to the BHI club can be purchased separately. This home is pet friendly. Please note that we do charge a $350 plus tax pet fee that is non-refundable.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cottage in the Oaks. Loved the front porch high top table and swing. We had awesome weather and were able to enjoy it daily. Surprised no mosquitoes came after us. The home has been recently updated with new paint and some new furnishings but the website still shows older photos. The new updates add a subtle beach flair. The beds were so comfortable. Makes me think I need to invest in a posturepedic mattress. Kitchen is really tiny but very well equipped. The extra small refrigerator under the stairs is a brilliant idea that we used for drinks. Pet friendly home too! We had a flat tire on one of the golf carts and the management company was quick to send someone out to replace the tire. Overall, a great experience! We will definitely come back!

We loved the Cottage in the Ibis Roost neighborhood. It was our first visit at Thanksgiving, although we have been coming to the island for years. Absolute joy and the house was adorable! Thanks so much.

Loved staying in this lovely, adorable cottage while we enjoyed a long weekend on BHI. This cottage is spacious, warm and cozy and had all of the necessities for a short stay. It was clean and comfortable and comes with two golf carts. We had to call for service on one of the carts and BHI services were there in a short time and fixed everything. Location is in more of the center of the island but the beaches, market etc are just a short cart ride away! Highly recommend!!
Awesome house and location!

We had a great time at 7 Ibis Roost! We decided to get a pet friendly rental in case my brother brought his dog (he didn't) and you wouldn't even know that it was pet friendly. Sometimes pet friendly rentals can have stained carpets or older furniture but this was NOT the case. It was super clean and well decorated (even better than the photos) plus spacious. The neighborhood pool saved the day since the BHI club sold out of guest memberships on the busy Memorial Weekend. In addition to 2 golf carts, there were 4 bikes, multiple beach chairs and toys and basically everything you could want. The communication and directions were awesome and I knew exactly how to get in touch with the property manager if there was an issue - but there were no issues! Ibis Roost is convenient to everything and we will hopefully be back!

We had a fantastic time at the cottage in the oaks! We do a family girls trip, my sisters & mom, every year and this has been one of our favorite spots! It was peaceful and well stocked with usable chairs & bikes (which is kind of rare at rental homes). We loved the Ibis Roost community and location on island close to market and shops! Definitely recommend! I am actually coming back with friends in less than 2 weeks!

We loved our stay at Collage in the Oaks! We had such a fun family stay and everything we needed was at the cottage, including buckets and spades for the beach which the children loved! We would definitely visit again.

Really tastefully decorated and clean. Loved the couch and upstairs “kids room” because it was cozy and attractive! We found it good for social distancing entertaining bc of all the porch space. It was also very well stocked with everything we needed+. The house was pretty private being surrounded mostly by trees. (All but one corner on the porch) .It was a good location to get to any part of the island. Tiny suggestion- the railing going to the “kids room” needs to be cleaned or maybe sanded and cleaned. There is a stickiness to it that did not wipe away. I would totally stay here again.

Our two families really enjoyed “Cottage in the Oaks”. This was our 3rd visit to the island and our 1st time staying in the Maritime Forest. The location was very convenient to everything and quiet! We look forward to our 4th visit!
