Enjoy this peaceful cottage. This private duplex has been renovated and comes with its own porch. The beach is only a short walk away. A queen-size adjustable bed can be used to sleep up 2 people in the unit. Enjoy a cup of coffee or your favorite drink while you relax on the porch. The cottage is very small, but it is full of charm and comfort. The boardwalk is just outside your door and takes you to the beach in 180 steps. One block away is the trolley line on Gulf Blvd. The house has a large TV in its living room and free Wi-Fi. Rock Lobster is located in Treasure Island. It is less than one mile from Johns Pass, where you can shop and eat, watch the dolphins and even rent jet skis. Treasure Island was named after an early hotelier who dug up and found a few wooden chests along the beach. The chests contained treasure, according to the hotelier. The news quickly spread and the area was renamed Treasure Island. Treasure Island is close to St. Petersburg, and centrally located to everything.
