Los Cabos I, Unit 5 sits at 105 E Tarpon on the east side of Padre Blvd — the beach side — less than half a block from the water in the heart of South Padre Island's entertainment district. Two bedrooms, two baths, up to 8 guests, with a king bed in each bedroom and a community pool right in the courtyard. The bars, live music, and restaurants that make South Padre what it is are all on foot from the front door.

The open-concept kitchen flows directly into the dining and living room, keeping the group in one space whether someone is cooking or watching the game. The layout is comfortable and practical —while not a new luxury remodel, it is very well set up and professionally cleaned for every stay.

A starter supply of coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, soaps, shampoos, dishwasher pods, and trash bags is included. These are starter amounts and are not replenished.

Clean, crisp & fresh towels and linens are provided on all standard beds. Laundry detergent is not provided — bring your own. Note that BBQ and grills are not permitted at this complex, but open-container and cooler-friendly beach days are the norm on South Padre Island; just leave the glass behind. Charcoal grill are allowed on the public beaches.

FIVE REASON TO BOOK:

Being on the east side of Padre Blvd is the detail that matters here: you walk out and head straight to the beach rather than crossing four lanes of traffic. The entire entertainment strip — live music venues, sunset margarita bars, late-night kitchens, and waterfront restaurants — is walkable. Most guests leave their car parked and never move it until check-out day.

A king bed in each bedroom is a sleeping setup that is genuinely hard to find at this location and price point. Two couples traveling together each get a full king to themselves. For larger groups, the living room adds a fold-down couch (full size) and a lofted twin bed, and there is a provided airbed as well. While we allow 8 less people than that is optimal. Bring your own bedding for the fold-down and/or the airbed - all other beds all bedding provided

Two full bathrooms mean two couples or families are not sharing a single sink in the morning. Both are full baths, so the group can split naturally without anyone waiting in the hall.

The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and everything needed to cook instead of eating out every meal — a meaningful way to save on a longer stay. The stackable washer and dryer means you pack lighter and leave with clean clothes. Smart TVs are in every bedroom and the living room, and WIFI is included throughout.

The courtyard pool belongs to an 8-unit complex, which means it stays quieter and less crowded than the resort pools on the island. It is steps from the front door and a natural place to decompress between beach sessions.

EXACT BEDDING:
Bedroom 1: King bed. Bedroom 2: King bed. Living room: fold-down couch (full size) and lofted twin bed. Bonus airbed with pump also provided — bring your own bedding for the fold-down, the loft, and the airbed. The 8-guest maximum includes infants and children.

PARKING
Free off-street parking for up to 2 vehicles front-to-back is included — unlike hotels on the island that charge for every car. Two parking permits are issued. No additional guest parking is available at the complex. A golf cart counts as a vehicle toward the 2-car limit.

A NOTE ON THE SECOND FLOOR
Unit 5 is on the second floor — one flight of stairs with no elevator, so keep that in mind
The upside to a 2nd floor is real: no guests above you means noticeably less noise throughout your stay. If stairs are a concern for anyone in your group, feel free to reach out before booking and we can point you toward a ground-floor option.

SPRING BREAK AND EASTER
During March and Easter week, the Los Cabos complex requires a security wristband per person at $25. This is a complex/HOA fee, not one we control. Please factor it into your planning.

High-speed WIFI is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down.

Primary guest must be 25 or older no exceptions. You must read and agree to all house rules prior to booking — we are happy to answer any questions before you arrive. Strict cancellation policy applies. We do require a digital E-sign rental agreement and a pic of your photo ID to check you in. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time. No pets. You will have complete private access to this two bedroom apartment, which serves as your home base on South Padre Island. The space features a comfortable living room, a full kitchen, and two bathrooms, providing plenty of room for your group. Guests are welcome to utilize the community pool in the courtyard, which is perfect for relaxing between beach trips. We provide two parking permits for your use in the off street parking area. Access to the unit is through a private entrance, and please be aware that the apartment is situated on the second floor and requires climbing one flight of stairs to reach the front door.

You are located in the heart of the entertainment district, meaning the island's vibrant energy is right at your doorstep. The beach is the star of the show, sitting less than half a block away, allowing you to walk from your door to the sand in under a minute without crossing any major traffic. When you are ready to explore, you will find yourself within easy walking distance of the island's famous sunset margarita bars, live music venues, waterfront dining, and late-night kitchens. Because everything you need for a memorable vacation is so close by, most of our guests find they can park their car upon arrival and simply enjoy the convenience of walking to all the local hotspots.

One of the best features of our location is that you can truly park your car upon arrival and leave it for the duration of your stay. We provide free off street parking for up to two vehicles directly at the complex. Because we are situated in the heart of the entertainment district, all of the major attractions, restaurants, and beach access points are within easy walking distance. If you do arrive by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is the closest major hub, located approximately forty minutes away by car. For those who prefer public transit, the island offers convenient options including the Island Metro, and additional free parking can be found at the intermodal bus station or the local post office if you are traveling with extra vehicles.

Important information for your stay at Los Cabos I Unit 5. Check in is at 3 PM and check out is at 11 AM. The primary guest must be at least 25 years old. Before arrival you are required to complete a digital rental agreement and provide a photo of your identification to comply with local regulations. Please note the unit is on the second floor and accessible only by stairs. We provide a starter supply of toiletries and cleaning products which are not replenished during your stay. The complex enforces quiet hours from 10 PM to 9 AM. Parking is limited to two vehicles and golf carts count toward this limit. No smoking parties or pets are permitted. During March and Easter week guests are required to purchase a security wristband from the complex management. At check out please set the thermostat to 78 degrees start the dishwasher with dirty dishes and remove all trash to the dumpster to avoid additional fees.

We are professionally managed by South Padre Trips, the premier vacation rental provider on the island. You will have the benefit of a dedicated team available to assist you throughout your stay. Our office is located at 2600 Padre Boulevard and remains open seven days a week from 9 am to 5 pm to help with any needs. For emergencies or urgent assistance, we provide 24 hour phone support. You will receive your door access codes via text message by 3 pm on your arrival day, allowing for a seamless self check in experience.

In other words infants count on your total amount of guests allowed, no exceptions. The primary guest must check in and accompany guests. If the property IS pet friendly, pets may not be left alone to bark, allowed on furniture, & all pet droppings must be picked up & properly disposed of. Pets are never allowed in or by pool areas nor are they allowed to be off lease on property Unauthorized / non registered guests are NOT allowed. Get togethers NOT allowed nor unregistered guests in pool area. At check out, you must turn the thermostat to 78 degrees, put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and turn on, and take all trash in unit out to dumpster.
