This condo is on the 2nd floor up stairs (no elevator) and features an all tile floor, granite counters in kitchen, fun & funky furniture & decor, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for easy family meal prep with pots, pans, dishes etc. We have this bargain priced for a beachfront two bedroom inconsideration of the unit not being brand new.

As you walk in you will notice the open concept kitchen to living room to patio with 2 chairs that overlooks the Gulf of Mexico (ocean) and the one pool area. The living room has a large flat screen smart TV to wind down after a day at the beach with a movie, as well as a sleeper sofa coach (please bring extra bedding if you plan on using :)

This is an older non remodeled or updated condo. It is value priced for beachfront but we don't want disappointments its not new and perfect.

This entry floor also has the guest bedroom with 2 queen beds plus a provided airbed and pump for "just in case" extra space. There is a full bathroom on this main living level.

Kids and adults alike will almost immediately notice the cool spiral staircase that winds up to the very private master bedroom suite with a queen bed, flat screen TV, and en suite full bathroom. As an added bonus, there is yet another small private patio perfect for a mom and dad margarita or wine with ocean view

While this is not a fully remodeled nor renovated condo, it is clean and perfectly set up for families to enjoy on their vacation. If you are looking for brand new luxury, this won't be a fit as it has fun-yet-somewhat very well loved and used furniture - the beds are totally fine, mind you :)

Up to 8 guests are provided, just realize what the bedding is we have stated here please. 6 is more comfortable unless some of your human count are kids :)

Bahia Mar is very resort like, and this condo provides 2 off street parking spaces, there is security at the complex, and it is in a great walkable location to Clayton's Beach Bar, Bar Louie, Barry's Beach Bar & more for food & drinks.

IF you have some work to do, there is wifi/internet provided, though spectrum the provider can be spotty.

Please inquire about off season discounts Sept 15 to Dec 15 for stay over 4 nights. We do have active military as well as football coach discounts - just ask before you book please not after :)

Pets are ok. Up to 2 dogs. Fee of $75 per pet applies. If you do not disclose a pet we must evict with no refund so please be kind :)

Pet rules:
1.) May not be left alone to bar
2.) Must be on leash at all times on property
3.) May NEVER be in pool area
4.) Cannot be on furniture
5.) Must pick up all pet droppings

Failure to do so will result in a fee of $150 to card on file OR you may face eviction with no refund - sorry. They are welcome but here are our rules :)

Property is professionally managed by local South Padre Island Trips at 2600 Padre Blvd. We do offer free linen exchange for stays over 3 nights.

You must read & agree to ALL house rules prior to booking - failing to do so is not a reason for a cancellation nor refund request so please review :)

We provide an electronic code to enter the property prior to 3 pm day of check in to the number on file, not before.

You must have completed the e- rental agreement and attached a photo of your picture ID.

We will not provide door code for entry without these being done nor will we offer a refund for this just to clarify

We provide all bed sheets, blankets, bath towels, face towels, hand towels, basic soaps & shampoos and a starter pack of dishwasher pods, trash bags, coffee, filters, creamer, and sweetener. These supplies are a starter pack and not unlimited nor re supplied.

Door codes are provided by 3 pm via text message for check in, FYI

This property does require the use of condo security wristbands that have a fee of $35 plus tax for every occupant in the the month of March. This is the property HOA's fee and not ours, but we do pre collect via the airbnb resolution center for convenience.

Guests have full private access to the entire two level condo during their stay. The main floor features an open concept kitchen and living area that leads to a private patio with ocean views. Also on the main level is a guest bedroom and a full bathroom. A spiral staircase provides access to the upper level which houses the private master bedroom suite, a second full bathroom, and a small private balcony perfect for enjoying the view. Please note that the unit is located on the second floor and is accessible via stairs only as there is no elevator. Guests also have full access to the Bahia Mar resort amenities including two swimming pools, two heated hot tubs, a tennis court, and a sundeck with loungers. Two off street parking spaces are included for your convenience.

Our condo is situated in the heart of South Padre Island, offering the perfect balance of relaxation and entertainment. You are located right on the beach, meaning the sand and surf are just steps away from your door. When you are ready to venture out for a meal or a drink, the neighborhood is incredibly walkable. You can easily stroll to popular local spots such as Claytons Beach Bar, Bar Louie, and Barrys Beach Bar, all of which are just a short walk from the resort. Whether you are looking for a casual bite by the water or a lively evening out, you will find plenty of dining and nightlife options within minutes of the property.

Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient from our location at Bahia Mar. We provide two dedicated off street parking spaces for your vehicle, which is the most common way to explore the island. If you prefer to leave the car behind, the island offers a free shuttle service that runs throughout the area. For those arriving by air, the Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport is the most convenient hub, typically a forty five minute drive from the condo. If you find yourself needing extra parking for additional vehicles or a golf cart, free public parking is available at the Intermodal Bus Station, the local post office, or along Gulf Boulevard.

To ensure a smooth stay, please note that this property is located on the second floor and is accessible via stairs only as there is no elevator. Check in begins at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am. We provide an electronic access code to the phone number on file by 3 pm on the day of your arrival. Prior to check in, guests must complete a rental agreement and provide a photo of their government issued identification. The minimum age for the primary guest is 25 years. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as soap, trash bags, and coffee, which are not replenished during your stay. Quiet hours are strictly enforced between 10 pm and 9 am. If you are traveling with pets, please disclose this at the time of booking, as a fee of 75 dollars per pet plus tax applies, and specific house rules regarding leashes and furniture must be followed. During the month of March, the homeowners association requires all guests between the ages of 10 and 35 to wear a mandatory wristband, which carries a fee. At check out, please set the thermostat to 78 degrees, start the dishwasher with your used dishes, and remove all trash to the designated dumpsters.

For two & 3 bedrooms, 2 cars for parking though some properties may have less please check the description carefully. Additional free parking is available at the inter Modal bus station or at the post office on the Island as well as along Gulf Blvd. A golf cart is considered a vehicle FYI Generally NO PETS unless listing description indicates otherwise - if you do not disclose you will be evicted :( The pet fee for pet friendly properties is $75 plus 17% occupancy tax PER PET. If the property IS pet friendly, pets may not be left alone to bark, allowed on furniture, & all pet droppings must be picked up & properly disposed of. Pets are never allowed in or by pool areas nor are they allowed to be off lease on property Unauthorized / non registered guests are NOT allowed. Get togethers NOT allowed nor unregistered guests in pool area. At check out, you must turn the thermostat to 78 degrees, put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and turn on, and take all trash in unit out to dumpster. A $25 wristband fee applies during the month of March. As required by the HOA, all rental guests between the ages of 10 and 35 must purchase and wear a wristband while on the property. Wristbands are mandatory for all guests.
Please be sure to purchase wristbands in advance so they are available upon arrival. Kindly plan accordingly, as security will not allow entry to the property or building for anyone without a wristband.
