Summary

This brand-new remodel at 211 W Hibiscus sits on South Padre Island's quiet west/bayside street — completed July 2026, five bedrooms, two full kitchens, a walk-in heated pool with full BBQ area, and a private game room with foosball, ping pong, dart board, and a full arcade. Two levels, two decks, up to 20 guests — enough space and enough going on that two families can share this home without ever running out of things to do.

Space

Walk onto the second floor and the brand-new kitchen opens straight into the living room — fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and everything needed to run a real meal.
The living room flows out to a large front deck overlooking the street, which tends to become the natural gathering spot for morning coffee before the beach day starts as well as an outdoor dining area.

Three of the five bedrooms are on this level: the master with its own en suite bathroom, and two guest bedrooms that share a second full bathroom — all completely new throughout.

The back deck off the second level looks directly down over the pool area, which turns out to be one of those features you use more than you expect — easy to keep tabs on kids in the water while having access to the main house. Both decks connect to the ground floor by exterior stairs, giving the house a natural flow between levels without everyone routing through the main interior.

The ground floor runs almost like a second home within the home. The second full kitchen — slightly smaller than setup upstairs — means two families can cook at the same time without the chaos that normally creates or use one for prep and one for cooking. Down here you'll also find the oversized bunkroom built specifically for sleeping lot of people, a second master bedroom, two full bathrooms, and a one-car garage that is yours for beach gear and supplies. Vehicles do not go in the garage.

Every bedroom has a flat screen Smart TV for streaming. The living area is big enough for a real movie night with the whole group, and yes, there are board games if anyone is in the mood.
The game room is where this property genuinely separates itself from everything else in this category on the island: foosball, dart board, ping pong, and a full-sized Centipede arcade game with additional titles loaded on the same console. This is what keeps the kids busy past pool hours, keeps the teens off their phones, and gives the adults something to compete over once the little ones are asleep.

Step outside and there is cornhole and a full-sized yard Connect 4 for when the group wants something different.

The pool sits in the backyard with a full BBQ prep area right off it — an outdoor cooking and entertaining setup that makes evenings here worth staying in for. LP gas is not included with the property, but we can arrange a propane tank for a $75 fee plus delivery if needed or bring your own.
The fenced backyard and open front yard leave room for a football toss or frisbee. The beach is three city blocks away — a flat and easy walk — and a beach wagon makes hauling chairs and gear considerably easier; we always recommend bringing one.

Washer and dryer are in the home for longer stays. Starter supplies provided: linens, bath towels, face and hand towels, trash bags, soaps, shampoos, dishwasher pods, coffee, tea, filters, creamer, and sweetener — starter amounts only, not restocked during your stay. Beach towels are not provided.

SLEEPING Space (Up to 20 Guests allowed)
Second floor — Master bedroom: King bed, en suite full bathroom. Guest bedroom 1: Queen-over-queen bunk bed with a single pull-out trundle. Guest bedroom 2: Queen-over-queen bunk bed with a single pull-out trundle. These two bedrooms share the second full bathroom on the second floor.

First floor — Master bedroom: King bed. Bunkroom: Three queen-over-queen bunk beds, each with a single pull-out trundle, plus a sleeper sofa. Two full bathrooms serve the first floor.

One airbed with pump is also provided. Please bring your own bedding for the pull-out couch and/or airbed — all other beds come fully set and ready. Four full bathrooms total, two on each floor. While up to 20 guests are allowed (infants & toddlers are included in this count), please plan your group size against the beds listed above; we want everyone to arrive with the right expectations.

POOL HEATING
The pool can be heated seasonally from November 1 through April 1 for a fee of $25 per day. If outside temperatures drop below 60 degrees, the pool is unlikely to heat properly. Heating is required for the full duration of your stay — partial-stay heating is not available. If you'd like the pool warm by the 3 PM check-in, we recommend paying to heat it the day before arrival as well.

PARKING
Up to four vehicles are welcome on the property at no charge — free parking, unlike hotels on the island that all charge per car. Golf carts do not count against the four-vehicle limit, so a golf cart plus four vehicles is permitted. Parking on the street or in the yard is strictly not allowed and will result in towing — this is a quiet residential street and the rule is enforced. Overflow parking is available at the Post Office nearby.

NEIGHBORHOOD
A 7 to 12 minute walk or a 3 to 6 minute golf cart ride puts you at Josephine's Café, one of the best breakfast and lunch spots on the island. Padre Island Brew Pub is right in the same area — the beer is brewed in-house so get a flight of their craft beers, and the pizza and pasta are great.

A bit further out but worth the trip: F&B is one of the island's top dinner restaurants, run by Chef Walter Greenwood — the spot when the group wants a proper night out. Café on the Beach handles the casual end, with breakfast, lunch, and a full bar.

One more thing: you can fish from shore right at the end of the street. We cannot promise what is biting, but the access is always there and it does not cost a thing.

High-speed WIFI is included throughout the home; please note that Spectrum service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone if you have must-do work as it can go down. We do not provide compensation for WIFI outages.

Primary guest must be 23 years old — no exceptions. No pets allowed; as a brand-new property we are protecting the investment for all future guests. This is a family-oriented property and is not suited for parties, reunions, or large get-togethers.

The maximum head count cannot be exceeded at any time, including guests who are not staying overnight. A signed digital rental agreement and valid photo ID are required before check-in. You must read and agree to all house rules prior to booking — we are happy to answer any questions before you arrive. Strict cancellation policy applies. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time and is oriented for families, we do appreciate your consideration. The property is private security patrolled.

Everything at this property is reserved exclusively for your group, providing a private oasis for up to twenty guests. You have full access to both levels of the house, which are connected by exterior stairs for easy movement. The upper level features a main kitchen, comfortable living room, and two expansive decks, while the lower level provides a second kitchen, additional bedrooms, and laundry appliances. The backyard is a highlight of your stay, featuring a private heated pool and a dedicated outdoor cooking area. You will also have full use of the detached game room and all outdoor entertainment options like cornhole and yard games. The garage is provided for your beach equipment storage, and you are welcome to park up to four vehicles in the private driveway.

Neighborhood

Our home is perfectly situated on a quiet, residential street on the bayside of South Padre Island, offering a peaceful retreat while keeping you close to all the action. You are just a flat and easy three block walk from the beach, making it simple to get your toes in the sand. For your morning caffeine fix or a hearty brunch, Josephine Cafe is a short 7 to 12 minute walk or a quick 3 to 6 minute golf cart ride away. In that same area, you will find the Padre Island Brew Pub, where you can enjoy locally brewed craft beers paired with pizza and pasta. For a more upscale dining experience, we highly recommend F and B, led by Chef Walter Greenwood, which is the perfect destination for a special night out. If you prefer a casual vibe, Cafe on the Beach offers excellent breakfast, lunch, and a full bar right by the water. For the anglers in your group, you can fish directly from the shore at the end of our street for a relaxing and cost free activity.

Transit

Getting around South Padre Island is easy and convenient. While most guests choose to drive their own vehicles, we provide private parking for up to four cars directly at the home. If you prefer to leave the car parked, the island is very golf cart friendly, and renting one is a popular way to zip between the beach and local eateries. For those arriving by air, the closest major airport is Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport, which is approximately a forty minute drive from our home. Public transportation options include the Island Metro, a free shuttle service that operates throughout the island, with stops located conveniently nearby to help you reach major attractions and beach access points without the need for a personal vehicle.

To ensure a seamless experience for all guests, please note that check in begins at 3 PM and check out is required by 11 AM. The primary guest must be at least 23 years old and must provide a signed rental agreement along with a photo ID prior to arrival. We strictly enforce a no smoking and no party policy to maintain a quiet, family friendly atmosphere. Parking is limited to four vehicles in the driveway, and street or yard parking is prohibited. While we provide a starter supply of essentials, these are not replenished during your stay. Pool heating is available for a daily fee from November through April, and pets are not permitted on the premises at any time.
