The house will be festive and elegantly decorated, and our hosts will set the scenes that bring the Knight’s Christmas story to life. Share the traditions of the staff from their home countries of Portugal, England and Germany. Visit the basement and delight in viewing a model train that shows the Knight’s journey from Philadelphia to Corolla and Christmas trees decorated by Currituck students illustrating popular literature from the time periodGrand Illumination First Friday in Decemeber. CCHS Choir will entertain on the North Lawn as we illuminate Currituck Beach Lighthouse and Currituck Heritage Park. Water’s Edge Village School will sing inside, accompanied by Mrs. Knight’s sketch Steinway piano. This night also celebrates the Night of a Thousand Stars reading challenge taken on by all of Currituck County Schools and Water’s Edge Village School. Come see all the stars and lights commemorating all the reading units completed! Santa will also be here! Special Holiday Candlelit Tours are scheduled from November 21 through December 28. Tickets are $15 for this extra special holiday event! Candlelit tours will be offered from 6-9pm- Last tour begins at 8:15 p.m.
