● Drive, bike, or walk within the community. You will need a car to go anywhere outside of the community. Uber and taxi cabs are available in the area, but can have long wait times or be difficult to find.
● We strongly recommend that you travel in a AWD/4WD vehicle. We are located in the mountains and roads can be slick and poorly maintained.

● The rental agreement will be sent to you once the reservation is accepted. Your booking is only confirmed once it is signed. Kindly complete it within 24 hours to secure your reservation.
● This property can host a maximum of 8 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations.

DOG FEE:
● $150 per dog. All dogs must be vetted. We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per booking, and we have the right to decline dogs based on breed or age. The appropriate fees will be requested once final approval has been confirmed.

Guests are REQUIRED to register online with Locust Lake Village. Additional MANDATORY community fees are as follows:
● $35 registration fee per group (mandatory) - It will be collected separately through the booking platform after the reservation is confirmed.
● Guests are REQUIRED to register with Locust Lake Village at least 48 hours prior to check-in. Failure to complete and pay for registration will result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund.
● All vehicle information must be provided. Golf carts and ATVs are NOT ALLOWED.
● Upon arrival at the Administration Office, renters will receive the following:
- Dated parking permit for each vehicle which must be displayed on the rearview mirror at all times
- 8 wristbands for the length of the stay to access community amenities (ALL WRISTBANDS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE PROPERTY UPON DEPARTURE). In case the wristbands are damaged or lost, we will charge $50 each for replacement.
● All community fees are non-refundable once registration has been submitted, regardless of a canceled reservation.

● Access to the Locust Lake Village amenities (such as the lakes, ice skating, sledding hill, etc.) is managed by the HOA and is subject to change without notice. Availability, operating hours, and reservation requirements are outside of our control. We recommend checking the official community website or calling their direct office phone number for the most up-to-date information before your stay.
● Please note, these are not our fees as the hosts, but fees the community requires all guests to pay to cover the costs associated with operating and maintaining all the great amenities and facilities at Locust Lake Village.

● Wander Home requires that all guests have their profile 100% verified. Please upload government issued ID and payment method in your account settings, as well as sending us a photo of your ID.
● Eligible refunds are subject to a 6% processing fee.
● A damage waiver fee ($40) is included for all reservations. Most channels add this upfront. Others do not have this capability, and it will be manually added to the invoice once the reservation is confirmed.
● We provide enough essential items to cover stays of about 2-3 nights. If you need more supplies during your stay, you can visit one of the following nearby stores: Family Dollar, Ahart's Market, CVS, Wawa, and Pinewood Deli
● Given the rural setting of the property, occasional sightings of ants, spiders, flying insects, and mice may occur despite our year-round pest control efforts. We strive to manage these encounters to the best of our ability, but cannot guarantee that the house will be completely pest free.
● When drought, weather or other conditions present an unusual fire risk, a burn ban may be imposed by the local jurisdictions without prior notice.
● We do our best to ensure there is propane available for grills, but cannot guarantee there will be propane for use throughout your stay. If all available tanks are empty, we ask that you refill a tank and provide a receipt for reimbursement. Note: be sure to refill/replace the existing tanks - do not purchase a brand new tank.

● We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You and your party will be able to self check-in upon arrival.
● Please remember that you are staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.

By booking our home, you confirm you agree to our house rules, additional fees & completing the rental agreement.

● Must be at least 25 years old to book this property.
● This property can host a maximum of 12 guests, including children and infants, per the local governing regulations.
● Quiet Hours: 10pm to 7am - please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum during these times.
● Pets - We allow dogs only (up to 3 per stay) with a fee per dog as noted in the listing description. Cats and other types of pets are not permitted. All dogs must be pre-screened and approved - please share detailed information during the booking process. Keep dogs off all furniture. You are required to clean up after them, both in the house and in the yard. Damages, stains, and excessive dog hair will result in additional charges.
● No unregistered guests allowed - All visitors must be approved by Wander Home
● No unapproved parties or events
● No fireworks
● Flush only toilet paper down toilets
● No food down the drains
● No glass, pets, lotions, oils, soaps, etc., in hot tub
● Replace hot tub cover after use
● Trash - Due to wildlife, we cannot have trash cans on the premises. Please take all trash with you to the trash facility upon your departure and throughout the duration of your stay. The collection site is closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so please plan accordingly
● Dishes - Please wash the dishes, or fill and turn on the dishwasher when you check-out.
● Follow all Locust Lake Village rules
● If you open it, close it. If you borrow it, return it. If you turn it on, turn it off. If you break it, fix it. If you use it, take care of it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back.
● Please respect the local habitat. Practice 'leave no trace' and 'pack it in, pack it out.'
● PENALTY: $500 for unauthorized late checkout.
● PENALTY: $500 minimum fine for breaking any of our house rules.
