The Saltaire is an extraordinary elegant weekly vacation rental home, ceremony and reception location in the Outer Banks. The Saltaire is a unique rental home which includes a personal chef/caterer and other special services in a beautiful Victorian setting. The gardens and pool area is the perfect site for a small but elegant ceremony and/or tented reception for up to 60 guests. Rentals are from Wednesday to Wednesday, ideal for a weekend wedding or a corporate event.

OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND
Wednesday to Wednesday weekly rental: $13,500 per week on and off season plus tax. Includes personal chef and daily maid service for one week (see below for breakdown of rates).
$13,500 weekly rate equates to:
$8,000 room rate/double occupancy = $230 night
$5,500 meals = $78/pp per day
$1400 tax = $960 sales tax & occupancy tax (12%), $440 food tax (8%)
TOTAL RENTAL INCLUDING TAX = $14,900
- $8,960 - Payable to the Saltaire
- $5,940 - Payable to Culinary Magick
The meals plan and daily maid service are optional services.
The house can be rented without these services for a base rent of
$7,400 plus taxes.
Includes personal chef to provide gourmet breakfast for 7 days, gourmet dinner for 5 nights
***Please note that the meal plan can be changed as listed below if discussed with the personal chef with enough advance notice***

Deposits:
A $1000 fee will be required to hold the reservation as well as a $1000 refundable security deposit, which will be refunded one week after inspection of the house, with the signing of the weekly contract. The balance payment will be required one month prior to check-in.
INITIAL DEPOSIT: $2000 plus the signed contract
BALANCE: due one month prior to check-in.

100 Marlin Drive, Duck, North Carolina, 27949. Centrally located in Duck next to all the shops and at the entrance of the Saltaire subdivision. Beach access is located at the end of Marlin Drive.

The house includes 5 master bedrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, living room, English pub area, pool/gazebo area, a gym, spa and game room. Upon arrival on the Wednesday check in, you will be greeted and given a full tour of the estate as well as provided refreshments. The house will also include fresh flowers for the week.
Personal Chef Services:
The Saltaire provides a weekly personal chef provided by Culinary Magick Catering. They will personally design a five star menu for your weekly stay. Daily gourmet breakfast and dinner will be provided. Special dietary needs will be accommodated for as well. The open evenings in which dinner is not provided can be used for cocktail parties, receptions or any special dinners. The chef at Culinary Magick will be happy to work with you for planning and preparing these special affairs.
The Saltaire house is the perfect location for a small wedding reception. Culinary Magick can cater the wedding event for a separate fee and can also tailor a menu according to your likes. This also includes wait staff and bartenders, for a plated, buffet or station menu.
Front entrance
The Saltaire was designed as a Victorian home, reminiscent of the “Painted Ladies” of San Francisco, Cape May, and New England. The entrance greets you with a large wrap around porch on which you and your guests can enjoy the summer evenings with the scent of Southern Jasmine in the air and views of the pool and gardens.
Living Room
The Living room is huge with a baby grand piano and furniture that will bring you back to the elegance of the Victorian period. Crystal chandelabras, gilded mirrors, art work and tapestries adorn the walls.The Brazilian cherry hardwood floors throughout the house are accentuated with exquisite area rugs.
Dining Room
The dinning room has a beautiful vintage table, chairs and fourteen-foot marble top buffet server and can accommodate 16 comfortably. The Chef of Culinary Magick will personally craft gourmet meals and present them amid fresh flowers and with fine table settings.
Pub Room
This room has a real pub feel with handcrafted “Pub Bar” and paneled walls, entertainment center and leather sofas will allow you to enjoy your favorite programs or just relax listening to music from the surround sound system.
Master Suites
There are five master suites in the Saltaire to accommodate up to 10 guests. The suites will feature fine linens and some antique furniture and appointments. Most of the rooms have sitting areas to enjoy a good book or just to relax in the privacy of your own space.
Game room
This room is located in the lower level of the Saltaire House and will have various game tables such as; pool table, ping pong, foosball, shuffle board etc. A projection TV with a large screen will also have the ability to connect to a power point presentation. There is a Bar in this room also.
Personal Gym
The Saltaire House will include a personal gym for those who like to work out on vacation. The adjoining bathroom has a steam shower and jet–air powered soaking tub with mood lighting. This room is decorated in a Zen-like motif to enjoy after a hard workout.
Pool & Gazebo
Lounge chairs and tables will allow you to enjoy a poolside cocktail served at the outdoor bar and grill area The pool is a heated saltwater pool which will be open from April 15 to October 15.
The Gardens
The Saltaire is available for your evening wedding reception and rehearsal. The gardens will be surrounded by beautiful trees and foliage for the perfect outdoor event. A tent can be rented from an outside source suggested by the Saltaire management
The Kitchen
Most of your meals are furnished by your personal chef. You are free to use the kitchen for light fare and beverages.

The Saltaire is a perfect location for your garden wedding and reception. The pool area is perfect for a cocktail hour and the back garden for your reception. Catering can also be provided by Culinary Magick and can tailor a menu to your liking and budget. Outside planners are welcome.
Corporate Events:
The Saltaire is the ideal place to host a corporate event. The house is equipped with a projector for presentations. Follow the corporate meetings with a perfectly planned dinner party or outdoor cocktail party. The Outer Banks offer many areas of interest; i.e. golf, fishing, beaching, sightseeing, and shopping.
