Picture yourself at the water's edge in a peaceful, beautifully scenic cove on pristine Trout Lake, one of the true gems of the Adirondack Region. Spanning 141 feet, the hand-laid stone and masonry waterfront and patio offer spectacular views and a wonderful place for swimming, sunning, hot-tubbing, cooking out on a waterside fireplace/grill, or just plain relaxing in the shade of the beautiful pines. A runabout motorboat and 2 kayaks are there for you to enjoy the crystal clear lake, lined with countless coves and freckled with islands. One-third of the lake is forever wild and features a 1,600 acre state park that is great for hiking and exploring. The lake is stocked annually with a variety of fish including rainbow and lake trout, large and small mouth bass. Perch and rock bass naturally abound so there is great fishing for the kids too. Approx.1800 sq. ft.
Completely refurbished in '05, this traditional Adirondack log cabin has a new, cozy kitchen with all the amenities, a charming and bright great room with hand-hewn beams and a fieldstone fireplace, and a glassed and screened area for dining and games. With 4 knotty-pine bedrooms, it sleeps up to 10 with room for two more on a pull-out couch. The waterfront features a hand-laid stone and wooden deck with terraced steps right to the water level and a wood-fired, cedar hot tub just a few feet from the water's edge. It is a peaceful and private setting nestled in a pristine cove on a truly beautiful lake. Come stay at Rustic Lodge. You'll have a great vacation, filled with fun, rest and relaxation, and memories that will last a lifetime. Don't delay though...reservations are filling quickly for the 2009 season.

Local Activities: antiquing, cycling, fishing, golf, hunting, mountain biking, sailing, scuba diving or snorkeling, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, An hour from the St. Lawrence River and the Adirondack High Peaks. 1.5 hours to Ottawa and 2 hours to Syracuse.
Great day trips are available in all directions. To the east is the high peak region of the Adirondacks, including Lake Placid, the site of two Winter Olympic games (about 90 minutes). Slightly north is St. Lawrence University (about 20 minutes) and the St. Lawrence River (about 45 minutes), and Ottawa, the capital of Canada, with its beautiful gardens, canals and waterways, and the Canadian Parliament (90 minutes). Alexandria Bay and Clayton in the Thousand Islands (about 60 minutes) are to the west, and Watertown (60 minutes), Syracuse (120 minutes), and Utica (90 minutes) are to the south.
