Exotic vacation experience at Rancho El Porvenir, a one hundred acre nature preserve 10 minutes north of Playa del Carmen, in the Riviera Maya, just south of Cancun.
The ranch accommodates just a few special guests: two people in the two bedroom bungalow that has a large master bedroom and bathroom with private garden view and enclosed, air conditioned porch that can handle up to 2 children or adults on comfortable fold down couch, served by a separate full bathroom.
The house has a modern kitchen/dining room with stainless steel Maytag and Bosch appliances, satellite TV, air conditioning, wireless internet, reverse osmosis water treatment system, and brand new furniture.
No smoking is allowed.
We have two playful goats, and some geese and turkeys that are a constant source of entertainment for children.
The beach is accessed along our own ecological walking and biking trails, passing through diverse eco-systems: forest, jungle, and mangrove. Our local flora and fauna feature spider monkeys, parrots and many species of birds, iguanas and butterflies. Our English speaking managers, Alberto and Gloria, university-degreed biologists and reknowned breeders of tropical birds, work full-time as consultants on environmental regulations and remediation. They are available upon request to escort guests through the property on eco-tours and to recommend excursions to archeological sites, dive trips and other area attractions.
Our beach includes both sandy and rocky areas, the latter with lovely fresh water springs that form your private swimming pools and are suitable for snorkeling. |

Policies
Rates are in $US, subject to change without notice, and based on occupancy of 2 Persons. Weekly rentals preferred though 5 days quoted upon request. Strict no smoking policy.
Deposits
Payment in full upon reservation
Refunds
Reservations must be paid in advance but will be refunded in full, less 10%, if cancelled more than 30 days prior; no refund if cancelled 30 days or less.
The rate includes maid service and purified drinking water.
Special Activities
nature tours and horseback riding available for all ages on our 100 acre beachfront ranch. Sailing lessons on-site are available for children ages 8 to 13 in our fleet of Optimist sailboats - just tip the staff.
Shopping
We'll escort you to town so you know the good places to shop for local handicrafts or to stock your kitchen.
