Overall, we loved this property, even if the week started off a little rough and the weather SUCKED (not Beach Realty's fault!).

CONS.
-Wifi was not working when we arrived (and two of us were taking a working vacation and had specifically looked for a property with wifi).
-Coffee maker was not working upon arrival
-STRONG moth ball smell upon arrival
-Cold, rainy, and windy all week, except for a few hours on Friday. Alas, not the property's fault. At least Sandy Ridge was not swept into the ocean like some other houses this week!
-No hand soap provided. Couldn't really believe this, on the back end of a global pandemic, where we all re-learned the importance of basic sanitation.

Pros.
-Internet was fixed by Monday afternoon
-Handyman discovered audio on the TV was not working, and brought out a new TV by Tuesday morning
-Handyman brought a new coffee maker Monday afternoon when he came to fix the TV
-Laundry was great
-Text customer service was so nice, as was Ella over the phone
-Private beach access was AWESOME.
-Great adirondacks and rocking chairs on front and back porch
-Great location: near lots of great restaurants and grocery stores and sites.

None of our homes are condemned like the ones in Rodanthe that were prior to being swept away... so we are happy to say that you can enjoy your next stay on the beach worry-free. and even if Mother Nature should decide to stir things up again, there's nothing quite like staying oceanside and enjoying the show!
