The cheery and tastefully decorated living room opens into a galley kitchen with coastal vibes and new and updated appliances. The primary bedroom has a king bed, en suite bathroom, and amazing tropical views! The guest bedroom has a queen bed and lets out onto the back deck with more views and comfy seating. For entertainment options, check out the smart TV in the living room or the flat-screen TV in the primary bedroom.
You probably won't want to leave this relaxing home away from home, but if you want to do some exploring, feel free to walk the neighborhood and enjoy lovely views of the water and the Marina at the end of the street. Or, for more adventure, Palma Sola Bay Kayak Rentals is just 2 block s away! The historic Cortez fishing village is very close, and if you cross the Cortez bridge onto Anna Maria Island you can get to the sparkling Gulf waters within minutes. Once you're on the Island, take Anna Maria's free trolley for great shopping and dining options.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay! The location to the beaches was minutes away; parking wasn't difficult to find — all the comforts and amenities of home and more significant space than a hotel. We even liked the quietness of the neighborhood. I've already posted via Instagram the contact number for a great getaway. Yes, I will keep this listing on my radar should the opportunity arise. Even the groundskeeper/manager of the property was friendly and helpful in inclement weather when the electricity went out briefly in our neighborhood. My coffee was still hot while I enjoyed the deck and the plants surrounding it until our little paradise was up and running again. We had a FUNTASTIC stay! I hope to return July 8,2019. 5 stars!We had a wonderful time, and the accommodations were comfortable and equipped with everything we needed and more. 2/19
Our stay was was perfect for a get-away for my daughter and myself.
The neighborhood was mostly older homes mixed with some mobile homes but we felt completely safe. Candy was an excellent hostess who lives in the same house so was available for any needs we had, but gave us complete privacy. The unit is very clean,cozy, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. The location is perfectly situated for easy driving distance to Longboat Key, Sarasota, Anna Maria, or Bradenton. Lots of great beaches and states parks nearby also. December 21, 2018
Edward, your Kapok rental was outstanding! This place had everything that we could imagine plus plus plus. Super comfortable home away from home. The location was perfect for us and all of our adventures. The boat launch at the end of the street was locked though. Not sure why but it would have been awesome if it was open? Also not sure if u were aware but the wallpaper needs some attention in the master en-suite; just came loose. Otherwise outstanding place. I will recommend to all my friends. We were comfortable with this adorable little place the moment we stepped in the door. The furniture is extremely comfy and inviting. Great beds and kitchen well stocked. The deck is private with a place below to secure our bikes. Candy was extremely accommodating but gave us our privacy as well. We felt very safe at all times. Highly recommend if you like the Cortez Village area.

A Great stay. Home has everything and very clean. Candy is amazing and a great host. If bringing a bot, make sure to contact the Marina and make sure to reserve a space and therefore be able to launch. Otherwise restricted to public! We would go back for sure!!Arman H.May 30, 2017

A spotless home very close to the bridge to Longboat Key and lots of great restaurants just a few minutes' drive away. All modern amenities in a quiet neighborhood - waterfront is a 5 minute walk. It's one of the few structures in the neighborhood that's not a mobile home, and the view from the spacious veranda is all trailers, but given the location and the interior that is hardly a concern.Mitchell T.Mar 25, 2017
My family and I recently stayed at the Kapok property in Bradenton Beach and had an absolutely wonderful experience! It is conveniently located only a short distance from the beaches of Anna Maria island in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The property was immaculately clean and family friendly with all kinds of amenities that make you feel as if you are in a home away from home. If you are a lover of the arts, you will certainly love the decorations and the color scheme. I just can't say enough good things - it's hard to find such a warm, inviting, tropical and peaceful environment.
