Welcome to Carolina Charm, a wonderfully constructed log cabin home in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Boone, Blowing Rock, and Valle Crucis, NC.

Set amid tall pines and mature hardwoods, its heavily wooded, 2.5 acre setting will feel secluded and serene yet Carolina Charm is only minutes from Boone, Blowing Rock and Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store). Other nearby amenities include the Willow Valley Golf Course, which is open to the public; a community playground; and numerous great places to hike. Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian State and other major High Country attractions are short rides away.

Offering 5 sleeping areas and 3 full baths on three levels, Carolina Charm can accommodate up to 14 guests. A special feature of this home is that it offers two dens and two master bedroom suites.

The kitchen has been stocked with everything you need, whether you're preparing a large group meal or a romantic dinner for two. Bring your favorite K-cups or grounds for coffee. Take in those great views from the dining table while you eat!

This home has been designed with the comfort of its guests foremost in mind. All bedrooms and both dens have cable TV. There are also several DVD players throughout the home and all TVs can accommodate your favorite game system. Even the littlest guests have been remembered, with the inclusion of a high chair and a baby gate.

Get a great night's sleep in the King-sized bed in the extra roomy master bedroom on the upper level. Snuggle up with your favorite book (and maybe catch a nap) in the overstuffed loveseat in its cozy sitting area.

In the other upstairs bedroom, you and your guests can enjoy your choice of 12 games on the Midway arcade. This bedroom also has a Queen-sized bed. The two guest bedrooms on the main level of this home feature one Queen-sized bed and two Queen-sized beds respectively. The second master bedroom with a full bath and a King-sized bed is located on the lower level; you'll also find the second den with a pool table, cable TV and a gas-log fireplace system. There are 2 twin blow-ups available in closets.

Vacation Rental Policies

All reservations are subject to a $45-$80 reservation processing fee, applicable taxes, and require a credit card number to be placed on file. Reservations made in advance require fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee for confirmation and must be receiv

Check in time is between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM at our office at 8100-3 Valley Blvd. (Hwy 321 By-Pass)in Blowing Rock on the scheduled date of arrival. During busy seasons and holidays, checkin may be later than 3:00 depending on housekeeping and maintenance

Check out time is 11:00 AM on the scheduled date of departure. When checking out, it is the tenant's responsibility to remove all trash from the premises, clean dirty dishes (either by hand washing or by placing in the dishwasher and turning on prior to

All reservation sales are final. If you must cancel your reservation, please call our office immediately. Cancellations, switching of properties and date changes all invoke the cancellation policy. If you cancel, want to switch properties or need to change your dates, there is a $50.00 cancellation fee and you forfeit 50% of the total rent due. If the property rebooks for your same dates, then your advance rents will be refunded less the $50 cancellation fee. If the property fails to rebook, then you forfeit your entire advance payment which is equal to 50% of the total rent due. Any reservation made within 15 days of the arrival date is a guaranteed reservation and if you fail to keep the reservation the total amount of the reservation fee will be charged. Also, any tenant who fails to check in by 11:00 AM on the day following the scheduled arrival date without notification, under the terms of the Rental Agreement, shall forfeit all advance payments and all reservation rights.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Each tenant is required to provide a Visa or Mastercard number for BRMR to keep on file for damages or the payment of a refundable damage deposit. The deposit amount is $100-$800 and varies depending on the property and applies for all reservations made for occupancy around Christmas and New Year's Day. We also reserve the right to require a damage deposit under certain unusual circumstances.


When a deposit is required, it may be paid with cash, cashier's check, or money order at checkin or by personal check beyond 30 days of checkin. After the property is vacated, it will be inspected. In the event that there are damages to the property or its contents or there are extraordinary cleaning expenses as a result of your stay, the amount of total damages will be deducted from your deposit or charged to your credit card and you will receive a detailed accounting of the charges within 45 days of your checkout date. Otherwise, if there are no damages and a deposit was collected, then the total deposit amount will be refunded within 45 days of your departure. If a tenant fails to appear for checkin, a cancellation fee may also be applied to the credit card according to the cancellation policy.
