A sweeping view, near-total privacy, a stream crossing your driveway, and a luxurious 5000 square-foot home near historic Banner Elk is the perfect recipe for peace and relaxation! You’ll find all that and more at the beautiful Stoneledge Manor.
As you enter the home, the first thing that arrests your attention is the enormous great room. Its focal point is the three-sided stone hearth with a gas log fireplace and nooks on either side for books, movies, and entertainment equipment. Mounted over this fireplace is a 65” 4K HDTV with Bose surround sound, the perfect place to enjoy all your favorite shows on your favorite streaming services. Arranged around the fireplace are couches and easy chairs, as well as a gaming table tucked in the corner.
The other half of the great room is the expansive kitchen. It features an enormous tiled island for eating as well as preparation and service, with a vegetable sink on one side, as well as stainless steel Bosch and Jenn-Air appliances including two ovens, a four-burner gas range with grill on the side, and a double basin sink. The kitchen is well equipped with the items you’d need for a holiday meal for the whole family or for a quick snack for the kids in the group.
Off the kitchen, accessed through two arched entryways, is the formal dining room. Featuring a long table that seats 10 comfortably, this room has lovely views of the mountains across the valley. There is also a half bath near the kitchen, with an antique porcelain basin with hand-painted flowers on it.
The huge master suite occupies the east wing of the home. This room has a King bed, a sitting area around an HDTV with streaming apps, a desk for those who have to bring some work along, access to the deck, and a walkin closet. The private bath has a dual-head shower, a pair of marble topped vanities with their own mirrors plus a lighted swing-out makeup mirror, and a two-person Jacuzzi tub.
Upstairs are two bedroom suites. The one to the left of the stairs has a Queen bed and a bath with a tub/shower and a decorative antique stained glass window. The suite to the right of the stairs has a King bed and a sleeper sofa, triangular alcoves perfect for children to play in, and a private bath with a tub/shower.
Downstairs is the entertainment level of the home. The ceilings throughout the lowest level are all 15’ high. Halfway down the stairs from the main level is a closet chock full of board games, ideal for the whole group to enjoy. All the way down is a brand new pool table, waiting for a friendly competition to strike up. There is another large TV down here, a 60” 3D set with surround sound and six pairs of 3D glasses, as well as a Wii console and a selection of games, plus three Wiimotes. A large couch with loungers on either end sits in front of the TV, waiting for the whole gang to pile up and watch a favorite flick. A reversible checkers/backgammon table is to the side of the room as well, as well as access to the double garage, and there is a door to the stone patio on the other side.
The bedroom on this level is a Queen bedroom. The best morning views in the house can be seen from this room- simply open the blinds and enjoy the morning sunrise playing over the mountains. The bathroom, accessed from the game room, has a shower and pedestal sink, as well as a dresser.
The main level of the home has a wide deck, wrapping around 3 sides of the home. Sit on the deck and enjoy the serenity of your surroundings while admiring the view. Hike in the 5 acres behind the house and roast marshmallows at the firepit by the stream. Dogs will love roaming around the property as well.
With the serene wooded surroundings, it’s hard to believe that you’re just 5 minutes from downtown Banner Elk and 10 minutes to Sugar Mountain. Shopping and dining are a short drive away, with Boone about 35 minutes away. The Town of Banner Elk offers great outdoor activities all year long, as well as cultural programs put on at Lees-McRae College. You’re sure to love staying again and again at the beautiful Stoneledge Manor!

IMPORTANT NOTES: - This home is accessed by a steep gravel driveway. It is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required and chains may also be necessary for stays during Nov-April.
- This home is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs only (no cats!) PET FEE: $25 PER PET PER NIGHT
- The garage is not accessible to vacationing guests. Thank you for respecting this space.
- All TVs in the house are streaming only. There is no cable provider here.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You receive two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
- The pond at the base of the property belongs to the neighbors and is not part of this rental. Please respect private property boundaries and do not trespass on their land.
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

I am a very satisfied repeat customer of BRR for many years. We had a wonderful stay at Stoneledge Manor! Located in Banner Elk, we found a hidden gem, secluded with a beautiful mountain view. The home was well-equipped with every cooking gadget imaginable. We were only 1 1/2 miles from skiing the slopes at Sugar which made it perfect when we needed to come back to rest before night skiing. The home offered games, videos and books that allowed us to enjoy time together. We truly enjoyed so much about this home that BRR made it possible for us to stay an extra night at a discounted rate. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Blue Ridge Rentals to all of friends to book their stays in the mountains!!
Family Vacation

Our family of 9 (3 adult children with spouses and 1 grandson) had a wonderful time at Stone Manor. The house was perfect with each bedroom having an adjoining bathroom for every couple. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, bowls, dishes and utensils that we needed to make every meal. Sitting on the deck each morning and evening to the birds singing and frogs croaking was a wonderful way to spend each day. This was a perfect house for making awesome family memories.

We had a truly wonderful time at Stoneledge Manor! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by it's beauty! There were 10 adults and 2 teens that were entertained all the time by the features in the house. We loved to spend time outdoors by the fireplace. But if it were raining, no worries, nothing a movie, pool table and card game can't fix. We fell in love with this little town, and you better believe that we'll be back very soon! Thank you so much for making our first trip to North Carolina the best!

We've stayed in this house two years in a row now. Awesome place tucked away in The Farm. It's nice being so close to downtown Banner Elk. The driveway/path makes for an interesting arrival but once you know where you're going, it's easy. The neighborhood is super quiet (only a few houses even near you). The house is always clean and has a ton of room. The check in/check out is super easy (they email you your door code and boom, you're in!).

This beautiful home is located very close to the town of Banner Elk, with all of those wonderful restaurants. However, you feel as if you are in your own private countryside estate. The house is gorgeous, with lots of games and activities. Our furbabies loved roaming the property, with plenty of room to run and catch frisbees. Very easy to access and we will definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful time here at your home! There were 6 adults, 1 toddler and 2 fur babies that enjoyed your home and the area. Our favorite was the deck, it's wonderful for your morning coffee and evening cocktail, and everything else in between. We made smores and grilled out, (attempted) to fish in the pond, and went on countless walks around the property. We made wonderful memories here!

My family stayed at this lovely mountain home over the long MLK weekend; what a treat! A central gathering space was so cozy and warm, and then each of us had space to get away for a nap or quiet activity. The home is not too close to neighbors, so you really get the sense that you have a lot of privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed, and then some! The master was very spacious, and the baths were very nice.

LOVELY VIEWS AND A POND

We stayed at Stoneledge mid-October. It's a terrific home with lots of room, lovely views and a pond that kept my grandkids enthralled for hours. There was lots to do in the house, with plenty of TVs, a pool table, and games. The porch also is great for kids because, while it wraps around, there's only one way for kids to get off of it, so that takes some of the stress away from watching them. Nice big kitchen (but oddly, only one drawer). First-time visitors should be prepared for what might seem like an adventurous drive to get to the home. You get used to it, though. My biggest beef had nothing to do with the home or the management of it, but nearly all day Saturday someone was firing guns nearby. Constantly. It was really distracting and kind of ruined the quiet mountain vibe. Otherwise, a real find.
SECLUDED, LARGE, VERY PRETTY

Our family spent two weeks over Christmas break at the Stoneledge Manor and could not have been happier. The large beautiful cabin is well appointed and had everything we need. The property is well secluded, large and very pretty. Even though it is secluded, it is a quick 5 minute drive to reach Banner Elk and all the great restaurant and shops and only 10 minutes to Sugar Mountain. We could not ask for a better cabin experience.

I am reaching out to you regarding the great interaction I had with Micki. My husband and I just wrapped up a visit to Stoneledge Manor. We celebrated 15 years of marriage with 3 other couples this past weekend. I am a needy customer to say the least :). Micki was so knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. She followed up quickly to all of my emails and phone calls. I shared what I was looking for and she sent me a list of properties that met my search criteria. She saved me tons of time and effort. I so appreciate her personalized contact with me and genuine interest in making sure I was pleased with my selection. She also did a great job of helping me understand the benefits of the renters insurance-which I decided to purchase. I considered a few other rental companies (Foscoe Rentals in particular) but Micki sold me on a Blue Ridge Mountain property during my first conversation with her. She shared how long she has been employed with Blue Ridge Rentals and how much she enjoys working there. She talked a little a bit about herself-sharing how long she has been married and the ages of her children. She was very personable. You just do not find that in people or in businesses anymore. I will continue to rent from Blue Ridge Rentals exclusively for all my mountain travel and I will do so in part-because of Micki. I will also share this with my 800+ Facebook friends. We loved our stay at Stoneledge Manor! The house and property are so beautiful. It was a perfect place to stay before moving our son into Lees McRae college. While we were here we went to grandfather Mountain, hiked Table Top to watch the sunset (with our dogs 12yrs and 4yrs) and visited Linville Cavern. We also went to Elk River Falls, awesome swimming hole and breathtaking. There is so many butterflies around the falls. We also enjoyed the fire pit here, as well as sitting on the porch enjoying the wonderful views. We just love it up here, coming from Maryland there are fewer mountains, so we love coming up here and hiking. Thanks so much for making your home available!
