Welcome to Waters Edge Retreat!    Waters Edge Retreat, a 5BR/3.5BA waterfront house located in a picturesque gated community of log cabins in Jefferson, NC. Blue Ridge relaxation is waiting for you!   Open floor plan mountain cabin with pond view. The cozy living room is centered around a stone fireplace, which is also the focal point of your fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. You can even bring your own Keurig pods. Open the double doors and you'll be able to access the large private back deck, which has plenty of outdoor seating, a grill, and hot tub for seven people.   The main floor includes a half-bath and the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom featuring a jetted bathtub. Two additional king bedrooms are located upstairs, with a shared bathroom. One of the king bedrooms features a twin pull out chair with memory foam mattress.   Enter the entertainment room below! The pool table and board games will be a hit with your group. In the home theater, you can test your skills with the Xbox. The surround sound system and comfortable seating will make it a great place to do so. The projection TV allows you to watch DVDs and prepare movie snacks in the mini-fridge or microwave. You will also find a queen-sized bedroom, a bunk room with trundle bed and a shared bathroom downstairs.   Enjoy the view of a peaceful pond from one of the covered porches just outside your front door. Relax in the rocking chair, porch swing or hammock - your choice! Build a bonfire, walk to the dock, swim in the pond or bring your fishing equipment. The pond is regularly stocked, including bass that you can catch, and release. Parking is available for four (4) cars or more.   Waters Edge Retreat, located just outside the gate of the log cabin community is less than one mile from the New River State Park Wagoner Road. Enjoy hiking trails, fishing and a canoe or kayak launch. Picnic and shelter areas are also available. Zaloo's Canoes Kayaks and Tubes can be found nearby if you want to explore the New River. You're only 15 minutes from the Jefferson Landing Golf Course and Mount Jefferson State Park. The Blue Ridge Parkway is also nearby. Enjoy the local flair and delicious food in downtown West Jefferson. The neighbor's gazebo is not open to guests.   MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK   CANCELLATION POLICY: You can cancel your booking within 24 hours and receive a refund in full. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to arrival, you'll receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will not be refunded. If you have purchased travel insurance, and the reason of the cancellation is covered by the policy, you can recover the full amount.
