Mountain Climate Notes
The winter climate on Beech Mountain can be extremely cold and snowy. Because of the cabin’s proximity to ski slopes and snow blowers, snow often covers the ground all season. 4WD and/or snow chains are required in winter.
Even in summer, temperatures hover in the 60s–70s during the day and drop into the 40s–50s at night—perfect for escaping the heat.
