Property Description

As you drive over the high-rise bridge onto Topsail Island, you will immediately downshift to island time. Anchor of Santorini is located in the small beach town of Surf City which is the heart of the island but still far from the maddening crowd. Within a mile of this luxury home you will find many fine shops, restaurants, bars, fresh fish markets, fishing pier, parks, playgrounds, public boat ramps, grocery store and rental shops for surfboards, bikes, kayaks, etc. Although the home is very nicely equipped with the luxury of upgraded appliances, house wares, furniture and bedding, you will find this home comfortable and very family friendly.

As you drive in the driveway, you will begin to experience the convenience of a luxury home that has everything. You will find adequate parking that will accommodate 4 medium size cars and the house is equipped with a bad weather entry from the garage area. There is a gas grill on-site and there is plenty of outside storage areas for any beach equipment (chairs etc.) that you may bring for your use on the beach. As you venture a few steps closer to the ocean you will find a large enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower to rinse the sand after a wonderful day at the beach. You will also find a small recreation area with children's swings, hammock and the infamous 'Surf City Ring Toss Game'. This area is also a great spot to safely grill your fresh catch of the day.

As you enter the home on the ground level, you will have the option to take the stairs or the private elevator to all the living areas of the home (note: Elevator is not accessible to Bedroom 5 - Top Floor). You may also choose to load suitcases, bags, groceries, etc. into the elevator and send them up ahead of you.

On the First floor you will find three bedrooms, two full baths and laundry facilities (full size washer/dryer). Anchor of Santorini’s Master Bedroom' is decorated with elegant black furniture and accented in soothing blues and whites. It has a king size bed, wall mounted 32' flat panel television, private bath with double sinks and oversize tub, a private oceanfront deck with lounge chairs, an incredible ocean view and the sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep. The second bedroom is equipped with two cozy twin beds and gives the peaceful easy feeling that may invite an afternoon nap or an hour with a good book. The third bedroom will be great for the kids as it has a twin over full bunk bed with a full trundle bed underneath (sleeps 5), a flat paneled TV with built in DVD player and a child's closet stocked with books, games and toys. There is a small private deck with two chairs. This room is decorated in beachy colors and will sure to be a hit with our younger (or older but young at heart) guests.

The Second floor is Beach Living at It's Very Best! You will enjoy a spacious open living dining, kitchen area with a magnificent ocean view. This level provides direct access out to the oceanfront deck equipped with rockers and furniture to enjoy the wonderful view and sounds of the sea. The kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless appliances and very well stocked dining, cooking and serving pieces. The living area is beautifully decorated with soothing blues and yellows. There is a large 47” flat panel wall mounted HD television, a Blue Ray DVD player, a game table to enjoy board games, cards, or a jigsaw puzzle and a selection of 'take one - leave one' books. For those guests who feel the need to be connected to the outside world, we offer WiFi accessibility throughout the home. The 'Sweet Dreams and Sunset Bedroom' (Bedroom 4) with private bath is also on this level and it is equipped with a queen bed, flat panel TV with DVD, ceiling fan and a private deck to enjoy the sunset at the end of your restful day.

The lucky guests who will climb the steps to the 'Sweet Dreams & Sunrise Suite' (Bedroom 5 - Third Floor) will never want to leave. The early sunrise view from the private deck is simply spectacular. In addition, the opposite window view of the intracoastal waterway is a perfect spot to see the sunset at the end of the day and to get a glimpse of the boats as they sail north and south along this 3000-mile waterway. The cheery decor in this queen size bedroom with flat panel TV/DVD, private bath and personal coffee pot makes this room a total vacation retreat.

You will find plenty of surfing in Surf City. You can try your hand at catching a wave on a short/long board, kite-board, paddle-surf board, skim board or just enjoy watching the many adventurous water sport activities. For those guests who are not quite ready to 'hang ten', there are numerous golf courses, tennis courts, an island long bike lane, kayaking, deep sea fishing excursions, site seeing and party cruises and 26 miles of beach to just stroll, dolphin watch, sunbathe, ride the waves, or hunt for beautiful sea shells and shark’s teeth.

This property comes with a free linen package for weekly rentals ONLY, which includes: bed sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash clothes, bath mats, and kitchen towel sets. Any stay less than a week the linens will be a guest charge to be added to the reservation cost.

Check-in will be in person at the Coastline Realty rental office which is located at 965 Old Folkstone Rd. Suite 108 Sneads Ferry, NC 28460. ID’s will be required at check-in and must match the name on the reservation contract. At check-in, guest will be given a CHECK-IN PACKET that will include: WiFi information, keys or key code whichever applies, parking passes, pool passes (if required), any additional house rules if applicable, directions to property, emergency contact information, things to do info sheet, and check-out procedures. PLEASE DO NOT GO DIRECTLY TO THE PROPERTY BEFORE CHECK-IN AS IT WILL ONLY DELAY THE PROCESS FOR YOU. IF HOUSEKEEPERS OR INSPECTORS SEE CARS IN THE DRIVEWAY, THEY WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT HOUSE AND YOU MAY MISS YOUR EARLY ROTATION WITH CLEANING/INSPECTING.

FOR LATE ARRIVAL CHECK-IN YOU WILL NEED TO CALL THE OFFICE (910-327-7711) BEFORE NOON ON YOUR CHECK-IN DAY TO RECEIVE AFTER HOURS CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO FORWARD A DIGITAL COPY OF YOUR PHOTO ID (NAME MATCHING THE RESERVATION) TO THE OFFICE.
